I recently did a massive main floor renovation and needed a reliable, experienced, and friendly company to help with rewiring my main floor for pot lights, undercabinet lights, and brand new pendant lights in the kitchen and dining area. My main goal when looking for electrical contractors was to find someone who would come visit my home to see what the job entailed, provide me a with a competitive quote, and then deliver on an agreed upon time. George, Stevie, Adonis, and the rest of the Sparks crew did that and more. Not only did workers show up and deliver on the bulk work that needed to be completed but they also were very flexible with my construction schedule to ensure the job was completed to perfection. The best part about all the work was that the Sparks team also made valuable recommendations to ensure that our home was rewired more efficiently. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do electrical work because they always worked to ensure I was going to be happy customer.

Context: My wife and I moved into our home in 2016 and it had a tankless water heater that we inherited. It worked well and supported our growing family which now includes 2 kids. Current situation: It is now 2021 and unfortunately the tankless water heater finally decided to stop working (it had been installed well over 10 years ago). Anyone with kids knows that you need warm water. How did Tormic Mechanical save the day? : Chris heard about our problem and immediately made his way over to assess the problem. AMV came to my home and provided an exceptional experience in home renovation. From the moment I met the contracting team at AMV they provided courteous suggestions, competitive pricing, and an effective project plan to complete my basement renovation in a timely manner. What impressed me most, however, was that once the work started you could see the passion and dedication that they displayed in completing their work. My basement today is a sanctuary and it is a place for my family and I to relax in a time when being home is our only option. I would highly recommend the incredible team at AMV Contractors.

I contacted East End Appliance Service and paid almost $500 to fix my fridge water dispenser. The owner first came and concluded that a part was needed for a motor and I paid for this part. After witnessing that this did not fix the problem I was told that I still owed the money for that part (which I agreed to - no complaints there) but that I would need to fix the "Bosch Housing -- #BSH-00650438" which is my filter. I was told I needed to pay another $240 for the part and then it would be installed. I have not seen or heard from the company. I am the fool for trusting someone to come to my house and do work for me.

A pipe underneath my house was blocked by a root causing a drain pipe to get backed up. Jim and his team were on site within 4 hours, provided me a solution, and executed it within 24 hours. These guys just get it! They were courteous, clean, at at the end of the day got the job done right. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work in the city of Toronto.

I contacted Mo and his team after being referred to him through a friend. Without going into the details the price was set, the date was confirmed, and his skilled team came in and insulated the underside of my porch within an hour. It was the worth the wait and now the inside of the enclosed porch is already feeling warmer and I cannot wait to have a usable part of my house back! His workers (Dillan and Shereef) were amazing and left the work site clean and were incredibly professional. I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I were looking for a custom cabinet solution around our fireplace and we were looking for a contractor to help us execute OUR vision - not THEIR vision. Let me walk you through what happened: 1) We called a lot of contractors to come give us quotes. 90% of the people we reached out too wanted us to send them a picture and then measure for them. I am not a complete moron when it comes to handyman work but I figured this required a bit more finesse. 2) My wife, using Google, found Space Solutions which ended up being a local business and I reached out and connected with Barb. It turns out Barb is the owner of the company and she took the time to make her way to our house, in the middle of the winter, during a snowstorm to get an idea of what we wanted. She took some basic measurements and a week later we got a rough idea of what our project would look like. So far so good! 3) My wife and I got pretty busy and it was tough for us to get a minute to even think about finishing off these cabinets that we wanted for our home. However, on Family Day 2017 (a Holiday) Barb reached out to us and said to come on by her shop at Bayview/Eglinton because she had some work to do and she helped us find the time we needed to make our final decisions (i.e. finishing looks, design of doors, and little things we could not think of). It was on this date that she gave us an installation date of March 21, 2017. 4) A week later a gentleman was scheduled to come by the house at 8am for precise measurements and he was very punctual so that I could wrap that up and head to work. Very efficient! 5) Barb and I spoke a bit after this regarding the details surrounding the length and size of the cabinets and she was ever so helpful in understanding what my vision was. She was accommodating to any question I had so I felt 100% confident our project was on track. 6) I got a phone call from the Space Solutions office a few days before the install date but, as discussed on Family Day, there was an installer named Pat scheduled to come to my house on March 21, 2017. Pat showed up and put together our cabinets and I could not be happier. My wife and I live in a city home so storage is not really a luxury but we now have a lot more space due to this incredible company. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for their custom cabinet solutions. I know I will be using them again.
