I hired Mevlut to rip up an old front path and replace it with flag. He and his crew were in the following week and did an excellent job - their clean up was meticulous as well. We could not have been happier - so much so that I (an interior designer) have recommended Valley Construction to clients or exterior projects without hesitation.

We called Chris in the morning because one of our garage door's springs broke. Chris and his guy were there in the afternoon and they replaced both springs in about 15 minutes. He also gave us a 5-year warranty on parts and labour. Extremely happy with their work!

We hired Mulligan woodworking after reading the reviews on this site. At the beginning we were fairly unsure of what we wanted in terms of a built in bookcase but had fairly clear ideas for the window shutters. We presented Mike and Kelly with some images but weren't sure how or if they could be executed for our space. In fact, however, Mike was able to explain how he could produce something very similar to the bookcase we wanted and we are very happy with it. I don't think Mike had ever made the type of shutters we wanted. When they were first hung we were very unhappy with the result, there were gaps between them, hinges weren't hung evenly etc. It was not what we would have wanted from a rather expensive custom job. Mike assured us that he would make us happy and in the end we are fairly pleased with the shutters though they are not perfect. If I were to use Mulligan again I would insist that Mike be present during the installation process as his installer was not the most considerate, leaving food and garbage around the house and not taking the utmost care to install the shutters correctly. While we did have some issues unfortunately in the end we are pretty happy with the result.

We contacted Ewen after reading his reviews on homestars and have been pleased with the three jobs he has completed for us. Ewen works on his own, so there's no need to worry about about rude or incompetent installers (had that problem with another company we used for other woodwork in the house). Any problems which arose (and there weren't many) were promptly dealt with by Ewen. We are very happy with the results. Thanks Ewen!

About six weeks ago I contacted Eugene for a quote for an iron fence surrounding my front yard (the house is an old Victorian downtown and have a little patch of "yard" in the front which friendly neighbours like to treat as a doggy toilet). He went down to the property, took measurements, and emailed me photos based on my description of what I wanted. I have never met Eugene or anyone from his company but yet the other day they installed (when I was not there) the exact fence I wanted. There were no issues at all and Eugene is great at keeping clients informed, is very knowledgeable and the quality of his workmanship is very high. The price was very reasonable for the end product as well. I have no hesitation highly recommending Art Metal Workshop.

I would recommend Francisco to anyone thinking about installing hardwood floors. He's knowledgable, honest, punctual, thorough, flexible, and, above all, he's a very nice guy and he's very good at doing what he does. He was very accommodating when we asked him to start a couple of days later (because of other works going on in the house dragging on longer than expected). He even worked on Easter weekend to finish on time. He forgot to mention that his estimate did not include the base shoe and ended up installing it for free.
