I'll start with a wow. I approached the folks at Alliance Flooring because of their positive Homestars reviews and I was not disappointed. I first stopped in to the show room and was extremely well cared for from that point forward. Mike and Timea were extremely helpful at supporting me to choose material and look within my budget. They were also very flexible to help me work within my schedule, which required co-ordination with another contractor working through my kitchen. Like anyone else would, I shopped around and found comparable prices. In the end, I was confident that this team would manage my timeline most effectively. From there, I was introduced to Zoltan and his crew, who were up there with the most professional and efficient trades people I have ever experienced. They showed up each day by 8:15AM, worked consistently to 5PM, and had the entire project completed within 2.5 days. I was actually shocked by how fantastic these guys were, and would 100% recommend and re-use them in the future.

I got a new barbecue for Father's Day and was finally ready to get grilling. After looking through homestars and seeing some reviews, I emailed Gas Guys and had an appointment set with George within 12 hours. George arrived at the agreed upon time and did an absolutely fantastic job. He checked my gas line (which hadn't been used in the past 3 years), upgraded a fitting to code, soaped the line, and started the burning out process. The total appointment only took about 30 minutes, and I was cooking my first burgers later that evening. Really thrilled with a fantastic job. I will definitely be recommending GasGuys.ca in the future.

I brought Raakss in to quote on a basement washroom overhaul. The previous basement washroom featured a navy blue jacuzzi, terrible tiling, and no actual walls. I brought several contractors in to quote, and the Raakss team was both the most cost effective and most confidence inspiring team I met. I followed up with referrals as anyone should, and every review (like on homestars) was glowing. Robbie and the Raakss team proved to be the perfect partners for this reno. I knew sort of what I wanted, but didn't necessarily have the perfect plan in mind. Robbie walked me through the job and made smart recommendations throughout the project. We found areas to cut additional costs and to save time throughout the work. I had some issues with some of the tiles and fixtures I had ordered, and the Raakss team was flexible and understanding, re-arranging the work schedule to accomodate someone else's mistake. Throughout the job, the communication was excellent and fast. I always felt like I knew what was happening, and almost a year later, the work stands the test of time. I have already referred many friends to Raakss, and I'll continue to use them for major projects I have again in the future. Thanks to Robbie & Chris, who I will absolutely work with again in the future.

I called GTA Wildlife on Monday at 9AM after seeing a mouse walk across our floor. By 3PM, Kevin had assessed the situation, placed government approved poison throughout our house, fully educated me on every aspect of the home treatment, and clearly set my expectations about what to expect. Kevin clearly knows what he's doing and has experimented extensively with multiple treatments. He gives me complete confidence that our problem will be fixed, and I would 100% recommend his services and use GTA Wildlife again in the future if any other pest control issue comes up.

During the summer, I had the team from Rico Electric come out to the house to assess our knob & tube replacement costs, replace our panel, and put in pot lights in a 110 year old row house in the Junction. Subbash came out, and we had instant confidence that he knew how to handle the upgrade, and that he would take good care of our house. When we contracted Rico to do the work, Adrian and his team did a fantastic job, replacing everything in under the quoted time. He took exceptional care of our old home, including minimizing plaster damage. We were thrilled with the work, and have already recommended the Rico Electric team to others. Highly recommended.
