These guys (1 guy and 2 women, actually) dismantled the furnace and washed every part of it before reassembly, carefully cleaned all the ducts, washed all the vents they did a great job, and they made sure that I was aware of, and happy with everything that they did.
The guy - Ted - was friendly, helpful, accurate, and made a considerable effort to save me money. The invoice was nice and clear and his referal to a cleaning service was good, too.
I got my furnace inspected because it seemed like the heat-exchanger might be broken - that exhaust fumes might be leaking into the living area of the house. The guy didn't know how to read his carbon monoxide detector and gave a falsely high reading, backed this up with snake-oil techniques and said that he would be kind and not 'red-tag' (condemn) the furnace. A second opinion revealed that the furnace was in perfect order, but dusty - cleaning was the answer.
