Enrique was a gem from the start! I called and asked about a tree limb that was leaning into my garage and really I was overdue addressing it. Enrique is very calm in his approach on the phone and just a gentleman and helpful in person. There were no pressure tactics -just facts and suggestions on how to handle. He just left and he and Carlos were very respectful of my property and left it in better shape then when they started. Hope to be able to use his services again.

I wasn't expecting to call Ray but one day one of my cameras just quit. He spent LOTS of time troubleshooting and trying to minimize cost to me but the camera was kaput (likely from a power surge). Ray returned the next day to re-install and get it all going again. He was very patient and through to ensure all was connected and working properly. Ray remains a very trustworthy and reliable service provider.

While being a bit funny about my review title....I don't kid around cleanliness and finding a very good respectable and professional contractor. Matthew and his company were recommended to me by a friend but I still came to check out his reviews here on HomeStars. My first interaction was via this site and Matthew was very responsive and transparent about the process, pricing, scheduling and prepping the home for the service. I had duct cleaning done over 10 years ago and thought they had done a good job and by the way- I learned now never to wait for so long! Unlike the other company- not sure if processes changed- Matthew went to each vent to service it thoroughly. I know this now because some dust residue around the vents did result from his action but that is expected when things are done right and your house is close to a 100years old plus my neighbours did a reno last year so all that was lingering in my vents and likely the reason for my random sneezing episodes. I thought I had developed allergies but all I had to do was get on top of my indoor air quality issues. I didn't mind vacuuming and wiping things down afterward and besides I was prepped for that outcome....he showed me the before and afters as I observed him filming and taking pics as he went along- my air return- don't get me started! He answered all my questions regarding maintenance until his next visit in a couple of years. Now my Dyson is not getting its sometimes twice daily workout. I have the laser attachment so I know the cleaning is legit cause that thing catches everything. Needless to say, I feel my time and investment in getting my air ducts professionally cleaned was worth every penny. It has created better air quality and saved me time cleaning. It also helps that Matthew is a lovely young man who understands hard work and interacts with you as a human versus a one-time transaction. I wish him and his crews all the best.

Camilo and Brendan as well as their admin team were very efficient in getting me booked in and systems checked out. Camilo came across a few potential issues and explained my options to remedy and emailed info to me as well. He is not pushy and in fact very measured in his approach. I really appreciate being able to take my time to digest the findings and take action from there.

Well, I always here the commercials and thought why not give them a try. I did also get a quote from another company but overall Love Your Rug really seems to have a more seamless customer experience and the pricing was competitive. I did have to chase at one point but their response was super-quick and straightforward and made sense given the state of one of the rugs they cleaned. Would def recommend but hopefully not need to use again for this particular service (they offer many which I didn't know!) cause I'm done with rugs!

Ray under-promises and over delivers in product value and customer service. I had changed my internet and didn't realize it would impact my ability to monitor my property while remote. I called Ray and he diagnosed the issue right away and explained that a service call would be required to get them back online for a small fee. I didn't hesitate as I value Ray's time and with travel costs being what they are these days. He was very efficient and demonstrated the fix before he left to my satisfaction. It seems difficult to find consistently trustworthy people these days but Ray is one of them:)

Plumbing Heroes -Camilo were exactly what I needed. My furnace was due for a tune-up and there were some other concerns that I wanted addressed. Camilo was able to attend the same day and did a through check of all mechanicals plus make some recommendation for preventive maintenance. I was so impressed that I purchased the Elite Membership -which will allow for annual checks - so another peace of mind. Camilo was very patient with my questions and explained things so that I understood and was just a delightful young man. Glad I found such a trustworthy service.

I really like the reviews I read for Mike and also his phone etiquette as well. He and his partner did a an extensive review of the entire property and asked questions and made recommendations along the way. I wanted to get some insight into the current state of my home in order to know what projects to work on now so that don't become massive costs in the future. Michael sent a through report that same night and one by one I'm addressing each concern. Most of the fixes are inexpensive and I have peace of mind because I know what I have to do to keep my house in good shape too. Thank you Michael!

My front yard is the size of a postage stamp but I still have pride in home ownership and just couldn't stand it anymore. Between the relentless heat keeping me from wedding even in the early hours of the morning and overzealous weeds....I just couldn't keep up anymore and decided to do a complete overhaul and needed some waterproofing done as well. I decided to contact Sophie and Theo based on their reviews and was impressed from the start. They came and got an idea of what I wanted and made some recommendations so I could make an informed decision. The project was booked and Theo completely overhauled my front yard and took away over a foot of soil and replaced it the next day with the cleanest soil I have ever seen and topped it with the greenest sod I had ever seen as well. My waterproofing problem between the original house and front extension was also addressed and I'm so thankful. Theo worked diligently and would hardly even take a bottle of water from me. He left the area clean every night and was no bother to the neighbours even though he came with a bit of equipment. I'm quite pleased with the outcome but most importantly I found a contractor I know I'll be able to contact for other home needs. Happy to recommend them to family, neighbours and friends alike.

Kenneth was spot on! He inspected my roof after I heard little feet running around the attic one morning. Said all looked good but did discover an entry point on my neighbours side after they asked him to take a look. Kenneth placed the proper contraption to humanely rid the attic of squirrels and any other unwanted guests. He also did a perimeter search and discovered a hornets nest in the beginning phase luckily and took care of that as well. Would recommend him without hesitation and he happens to be a nice guy too.

Alen is a true professional. He showed up in safety gear and maintained good distance while diagnosing and relating the problem. What really impressed me was that he didn't take what he saw at face value -busted water line.....but dug further. He could've easily charged me to replace the part -only to call him back. His experience after further evaluation resulted in confirming that my dishwasher wasn't worth fixing and best just to replace. He even suggested a brand he trusts! Now I trust Alen and Alpha Appliance. Thanks for providing honest and upfront service.

This review was supposed to be done a few years ago....but still stands! Veli and his team worked diligently to interlock our house from front parking pad (including a retaining wall) , along the side of house to entire back patio. Veli was transparent and provided guidance and insight throughout. His team worked almost without breaks and were very clean and respectful of our property and thoughtful of our neighbours as well. He gave us tips on how to maintain the look and everything still looks good and solid today. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the slightest.

I consider myself very fortunate to have come across Gancy....he is super knowledgeable, insightful and a decent human being. I heard little critters in my house and was not going to take any chances. Called Gancy and he arrived the same morning. Did a perimeter audit of the house and through interior review. He educated me on typical entry points for mice and their normal routine once inside. Glad to hear the odd univited guest was normal once in a while but I wanted them gone. Gancy set up traps and distributed pellets accordingly. He guided me on how to monitor the situation to know his expulsion plan was working. He also encouraged me to call with any questions and would come back without hesitation. Gancy was genuinely interested in my concerns and understood how important it was for me to be proactive. Hope to recommend this true professional to family, friends and neighbours.

Serihy and his crew from Tornado Plumbing & Drain really set the bar in terms of providing an educational, efficient, clean and somewhat enjoyable experience. I had very minor water issues in the basement in the past but since it is finished I thought I wouldn't take a chance and decided to do some preventative maintenance. I called Serihy based in his reviews (and great to see pictures as proof) to inspect my almost 100yrs old clay pipe and then give me some insight on what could be done and possible discoveries we could encounter along the way (original LEAD pipe from house to city water line). He was very detailed in explaining how things work, how the crew would work, collaboration with gas line marker personnel and final city water inspector. I have to say that the only delay was out of his control (gas markings) and he was communicative throughout- and at no time was there pressure to make a decision (which I think I valued the most). The crew prepped the house accordingly to avoid excess dirt and dust from travelling throughout the house. They worked consistently and didn't linger making phone calls or lollygagging in any way. They were all polite and wouldn't even accept bottled water. I would say for a 'dirty' job- this was the one of the best clean-cut contractor experiences of my life. Many neighbours stopped by to know if everything was ok and I was already recommending them during the chit-chat. I have been in contact with Ray for close to 2 years and finally decided to take the plunge and get some upgrades to our security. He was patient with my requests throughout and quite educational as well. Totally pleased with his service. No hesitation to recommend.
