We discovered Jaystone after I saw Jasons truck on a project near our house. His quotation was on the lower side, and I liked some of the sample pictures he had provided. Our project involved doing a complete removal and deconstruction of our existing front landscaping, re-grading our front yard and grinding down stumps from previously removed trees, re-sodding the entire front yard, assisting with landscape design, securing a vendor for the repaving and managing the repaving process, designing and building a new cedar deck in the backyard, procuring and installing new plant material, and sourcing and installing exterior lighting. In each of these tasks, Jaystones quality of work and attention to detail were exceptional. Would definitely recommend.

We needed windows in preparation for selling our home. After speaking with Spiros and Melissa, we elected to go for GEM's premium vinyl offering, the SPARTAN windows. We had GEM replace the windows in our kitchen, back office, my daughter's room upstairs and the bathroom. The install, done by Joe Da Silva, who has been working for GEM for 25 years, was excellent. Aside from the look, which was fantastic, the thing we noticed right away was how much warmer the house was!

We hired Integra Bell after our neighbors across the street used them to open up their main floor. What impressed me most about Mike and his crew was the fact that they showed up every day, first thing in the morning, and then stayed until after 5. We didn't have any long gaps in construction while they took off to do other jobs. We broke our reno up into phases, and for each phase, Integra Bell was there each day until the job was finished. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. Mike and his crew installed new ceilings and pot lights throughout the house (to get rid of the old popcorn ceilings), along with totally gutting and renovating two bathrooms, installing new hardwood floors throughout, a new basement door, new baseboards and window casements. They also replaced the stair treads. Mike's communication was excellent, and he took the time to explain what was happening and when. Perhaps most importantly, the job came in on time and on budget.

My wife and I are frugal DIYers who don't often shy away from tackling home reno projects. The backyard, however, was another story. After we had our backyard garage rebuilt, the lawn was in terrible shape, helped not at all by our general aversion to gardening, and our use of the space as a dog toilet. Gross, right? In any event, we decided last year to have the space cleaned up, leveled, and resodded, along with getting some shrubs planted, a rock for the dog to pee on, and a flagstone walkway/path from the driveway to the deck stairs. We got three quotes from three different companies, and Green Valley Landscaping was the least expensive by a significant margin. They were so cost effective, in fact, that our arborist friend suggested that we approach with caution. Cheapskates that we are, we decided to give them a try, and were rewarded with a quality job, completed on time and on budget. Irene and Paul were friendly and personable and I even got an email from Irene at the start of the winter reminding me to tie up the cedar shrubs to avoid snow damage. So if you're contemplating getting work done, give these guys a call. Highly recommended.
