I hired Spartan Landscaping to service a few of our landscape needs around the house last fall, and have been thoroughly satisfied with the results. Andrei and his staff were knowledgeable, personable and professional in explaining the work process. They cut and removed two medium sized dead Ash trees from the property, removed approximately 150 linear feet of old fence which had rotted out over the years and installed a new brown pressure treated fence and 2 gates using 6"x6" posts which looks absolutely fabulous 5 months later. The crew also extended our driveway and built a new interlock walkway along the side of the house leading to a beautifully constructed backyard patio with 5 steps and a gorgeous retaining wall using top notch Unilock products. I have waited a few months to write this review because I wanted to see just how well everything would hold up over the winter months. So far, everything is perfect. Spartan Landscaping also stained both the fence and the interlocking pad and they have both retained their colour and "freshness". Nothing has shifted, nothing has sunken, no boards have split, the gates have not sagged, the entire project continues to be as sturdy as it was on Day 1. My wife and I are extremely happy with the outcome of the project. All of our neighbours that have seen the work have inquired about the company that did it - our next door neighbour has already booked their own project with Spartan Landscaping this coming season. Overall the quality of work is excellent, the communication has been fantastic throughout the project, we couldn't be happier. One thing we noticed about these guys is how well they tidied up after themselves at the end of each work day, spending a good half hour cleaning up debris, sweeping the driveway, and placing high visibility cones and caution tape around the work area - even the neighbours took note of this. Will continue to strongly recommend to friends and family!
