This is the first time we have used Finer Edge, another company through Home Stars. From the start Bill was very professional, very accommodating and assured us he would work with our timelines. We had to get some installation work done prior to painting at it was forever getting delayed. Once we gave them the thumbs up; they commenced the job a week after (I delayed it because I was going through paint-colour angst), again Bill connected me with someone who would help with that. Rosemary was nothing short of amazing and *Colin and *Vince followed through beautifully with the right paint! They were incredibly patient and knowledgeable after my 50,000 questions... The job itself was repainting the 4 bedrooms, two washrooms, several closets top to bottom with some touch-ups thorough-out the home. His site Managers, *Colin and *Vince were great and the team when they got here were very professional and courteous. We have lined up Finer Edge for two other external jobs which will require carpentry, again no issue, they have the expertise there as well. We are very pleased with F.E. I would strongly recommend them.

I have had Michael help with our home(s) for a few years now. I have had him repair/install electrical, install lights, ceiling fans, insulate and drywall walls. Lots of little jobs which add up in the end if you start calling more than one trade. He knows what he is doing and he offers suggestions on projects I never thought of. He is a pleasure and is always on-time or he will call (rarely) if he is late has to reschedule. He cleans up the areas well and I will continue to use him. He was here just today to provide yet another estimate on other work I want done. No issues. I know his prices are fair and I cannot begrudge anyone who really enjoys their job!My price ranges from around $100 - $400 again it really depends on the complexity of the job.

Flavio has worked on previous plumbing issues in my former home. I had water streaming from my ceiling on afternoon and over the phone he managed to walk-me-through the issue as he was on another emergency call. When he did come, that problem was fine, but I had him work on a dryer venting issue which according to him was not only a fire hazard but the whole exhaust inside the wall had collapsed and several years of lint excess was inside the wall (lint was never cleaned from the dryer and accumulated to the extreme point of damaging the dryer). He rectified it by removing the old exhaust and taping it and moving the dryer closer to the wall so the venting is direct, instead of the maze of angles it was on before. He assured me it was "Flavio approved" and there will be no further issues. He will be returning to replace some faucets etc. but he is always a pleasure to work with and I have passed on his name to several people, they won't work with anyone else either!

The sump pumps installed by the builder in our 'almost' three year old home were struggling to pump out the water from the last heavy rains we had. We had a possible extreme flood situation with our water trap just outside our recessed driveway overflowing with the rain water and had it rained one more minute, my garage would have been flooded. One of the sumps was actually submerged in water in the tank. Flavio assessed the pumps and determined they were not strong enough to pump out the amount of water we get because of the driveway grade and the sumps were not intended to be submerged as they were. Bottom line, the install could cause a possible electrocution concern! He replaced them with submersible ones that could take on the amount of water and suggested a few more improvements to consider. I felt I received excellent personable service! Flavio is very BUSY!!! but he really stepped up to the plate to get the job done and done right and kept me informed throughout the process. I would highly recommended him and already have to two of my neighbours. I will most-certainly use him again.
