To preface this review, I am not an a-typical client when it comes contractors. I personally have an understanding from application when it comes to construction based projects. So I wasn’t at all ignorant when it came to any stage of the project for building a garage. We initially had another contractor lined up, but his lack of communication made us cut the ties before the project begin. My first impression when I met Stan from Alta Home was the following; he was prompt, courteous, listened to the details I had and gave some solutions that fit exactly what I wanted. Communications wise: Absolutely excellent, never had to guess or hunt down to find info if need be. Very open and honest, definitely not what I have experienced from other contractors. Team: Their team was polite and courteous. Never felt they were a burden and respected all the “life” going on around them. Very nice and respectful from my interactions and my wife and kids felt safe around them. Project: We had a few unexpected hiccups on the project, but based on my experience. What they requested was more than fair and they worked with me to make sure these extra steps were taken for a better product. My foundation needed a lot more work than what was in project scope. The quality has been very good and even went above an beyond to ensure I was happy overall. Price: I would say based on my experience with all the quotes… they were in the low-mid range and for all the workers they employ, that was impressive. Overall: I would HIGHLY recommend Alta Home Garages & More. I am confident in their work and their ability to problem solve as well as delivering an outstanding product.
