I can't say enough good things about working with Manny and his team. Back in the early spring in 2017 I began calling around and getting quotes to shingle my 3.5 storey home built in 1895. It's a big job, and a steep incline. I called 7 companies, and did six on site interviews with different roofing companies (large corporate and small business). Now, I had already been working with many contractors on various other projects in the house and by the time Manny showed up we had probably had about 20 professionals through the place. Manny stood out above all the rest. From the moment he stepped on site he was attentive, passionate, and jumped right in with excellent advice on all aspects of the construction going on. Not only did he want to make sure his roof was applied with precision, he also wanted to make sure I understood all the connected aspects of his work. We discussed framing, insulation, and how all other elements of work would integrate into the life of the new roof. This is a company that knows their product. Manny has an excellent knowledge of how the product he uses works, and how it should be installed. In short, he reads the labels. My neighbour (an owner of several rental properties, and an excellent contractor himself) was watching while the crew was working on the steepest portion of the roof and later commented to me on how he could tell Manny and his crew work taking every caution to ensure the shingles were going to stay in place, and last. All the crew at Straight Ace were excellent. The guys had a great attitude, and were very clean and respectful towards my property, and the surrounding lots. Taking good care to keep things tidy, and making sure all aspects of the job were done well. I have already gone out of my way to recommend this company to several friends and acquaintances. I am a three time small business owner and entrepreneur, and I have to say from experience that Manny runs a great business, and a great crew. I highly recommend giving him a call. But be quick! The word is out on this guy and he books up FAST. Thanks again Manny, and thank your crew for me. Your work is top notch.
