I love my new shelves in my cupboards. As a senior you has a back issue I was struggling to get anything off a bottom shelf especially if it was in the back. Getting down on my hands and knees to reach these items was getting very problematic. Also digging into a deep pantry shelf was not fun. I found when I emptied my cupboards getting ready for the installation I would find I had multiples of some things. Now I can easily see what I have when the shelf is pulled out. The process was easy. Shelf Genie's representative came to my home and gave me suggestions of what would work for me. He looked at what I was storing and figured out the needs and heights that would best work for me. I scrolled through a lot of pictures of other jobs done. The estimate was broken up into different jobs so I could decide what I wanted to spend my money on. In 4 to 6 weeks I was phoned that my shelves were ready and a date was set to install them. The installer removed the old shelves and put in the new pull out shelves checking what my tallest item would go on the shelf and then the next one would be placed. The process of installing took about 3 hours for what I had done. He even took away the old shelves so I did not have to deal with them. I had everything back in place on my new shelves within an hour. I am loving how easy it is to access everything now and even have some extra space. I know these shelves were not cheap but I know I will enjoy them for years to come. My parents had some pull outs in their kitchen but they were wire and often something like syrup would tip over and spill and it was difficult to clean up the mess. With the solid bottoms on the Shelf Genie shelves it will be easy to clean up any spills that may occur. The shelves pull out all the way as well and slide very smoothly.
