Charlotte & Dustin in Toronto

We hired Tomer and Living Construction on the recommendation of friends and we were extremely happy with our decision. We purchased our first home in Toronto last year, and at 97 years old the house needed a lot of work, all of which Tomer and his team took care of it. In the end we got new insulation, windows and siding and eavestroughs. New internal staircases and removal of knob and tube. New flooring in the basement (tile and laminate), a sump pump and some damp proofing work there as well along with removal of old pipes and new drywall and lights. New cabinets, counter tops and flooring in the kitchen and then they painted the whole place. Tomer dealt with all the additional contractors (plumbers, electricians etc) and the project management support he provided was immensely valuable. As happens in renovations of old houses we came across a few surprises and challenges along the way (NOTHING in our house is square or level) but Tomer communicated well and helped us figure out the best solutions within our budget. We're delighted with how everything turned out and definitely will be using Living Construction again in the future when we tackle other renovation projects...like the bathroom.
