We had a problem with an central air unit that just wasn't performing. Max came out, showed us what was wrong and serviced the unit to get it back into shape. I have a hard time getting away during business hours, so Max's ability to work early and late is great! Thanks again Max!

I'd been looking to get our carpeting taken out, and have some hardwood put in on the 2nd floor of our house. I was pretty time constrained, and couldn't really make time to meet with people during the day. The Capital guys met with me after hours when did have some time and gave me a quote for the job. Quote was great - I gave them a set of keys to the house. 3 days after our first meeting I had beautiful looking hardwood installed on the 2nd floor. It was very fast and painless, they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. The pricing was also very competitive - other quotes were more for just the materials than the entire install with Capital. 2 years later - the floor still looks great.

We'd had our gas hot water heater die, and I called the company that we had an existing service contract with to come out. They made several visits over a few days, but ultimately no progress. Unfortunately, the material used in the PVC piping being used for the exhaust from the water heater was no longer safe to use (house is 10 years old). To use another gas heater, we'd have to rip out the finished ceiling in our basement and re-install new PVC. It's at this point, in the middle of winter on day 4 of no hot water that we decided we'd rather go electric than undertake the exhaust replacement project and lose our basement. This is where KNT Electric comes in. I was calling electricians desperately looking for someone to do the job of installing a new 240v circuit to power the electric water heater. We spent half a day calling electricians with nobody interested in the job. I called KNT - and spoke with Bill. He was busy on a job, and couldn't really help us at the moment. I kept calling other electricians for another hour with no luck. Then my phone rang - Bill called me and asked if I'd found anyone yet. I said I hadn't, and he said he'd see what he could do. Bill came by with a member of his team, and they installed the new circuit for me. It had to run half way across the house, and required a few holes in the ceiling. They patched things up beautifully, and the ceiling looked as good as new when they were done. All of this was done in time to get the water heater folks out to finish installing the new heater. It was a small service call, but it was really important to us. I'm grateful the folks at KNT were able to help us out.

Last weekend our central air unit died, abruptly and catastrophically. I hoped to have the unit repaired, and set about getting some estimates. The first out was a big name. They were late. They quoted us a really, really big number. I braced myself for going the rest of the summer without air conditioning. I went looking for someone who could do repairs (not just replacements) and found Aire Max. We set a time for a visit and he showed up on time! Max explained to me what had happened, and what my options were to move forward. Ultimately, we chose to replace the system. We had a smaller, quieter and more efficient unit installed and up and running the next day. Max was a pleasure to deal with, and I'd highly recommend him if you've got AC trouble!
