They deliver thorough, professional pest-control service. They were able to come the day after I called (and I called at night) and they arrived exactly on time, which I appreciated. They gave good advice as to what to do before their next visits, and again were prompt and punctual. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I appreciate their 6 month guarantee.

I can't say enough about Critter Control and Brandon. I had a rat problem and he came to my house multiple times to locate their point of entry, block it off, clean out the rat feces and urine (and some dead rats) and disinfect where they had been entering, and then came back a few more times to make sure they hadn't re-entered. He returned messages immediately and when I called on a Sunday night after hearing them in the basement, was at my house the next morning to get rid of them. He kept me calm during the process, as it took a while to locate their entry point, and he was very clear in explaining what he was doing. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The duct cleaning service was more than I expected. They arrived on time and were courteous and professional. After they left I could smell a bad odour from the ducts and called them and they turned around and came right back. The smell turned out to be unrelated to the ducts but they helped me identify what it was. I would certainly use them again.

I had used Mega City Roofing about 7 years ago to replace the roofing on my house. A couple of months ago a leak developed where some shingles had blown off. I was delighted that Tom immediately honored the warranty and came out right away to fix the roof, and it is now fine. At the same time i asked him to fix a leak on the front of my house (where the roof had not been replaced) and he came back on a Saturday morning to get it done even though it was a small job. He is a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I cannot believe what a great job Michael did on my windows and screens. They are just sparkling. They even took away a ripped screen to have it fixed. And Saeed was such a pleasure to deal with in booking the appointment; they completely accommodated my schedule and kept me posted as to exactly when they would arrive. I will be using them every year.

The broiler element in my oven was not working and it was not clear if it was the element itself or a problem with the controls, which would be more expensive. Turned out to be the control switch, which would have cost about $400 to replace, but Peter found a reconditioned one for half the cost. He was easy to deal with, arrived when he said he would (2 appointments) and kept me informed as to what was going on, as well as explaining what repairs were required. The people in his office were great too. I highly recommend him.

Dave from Hoerner Heating & Plumbing did an excellent job replacing a leaky pipe in my basement. My sister recommended them, and my whole experience was positive - the friendly receptionist offered a choice of times and Dave arrived exactly on schedule, explained what needed to be done and had the pipe replaced within half an hour. No more dripping! I had called another company that offered 24 hours service first, and they offered me an appointment in 2 weeks. When I called Hoerner, they offered me an appointment the same day. I would definitely use them again.

Pierce and his team did a great job cleaning my eavestroughs and repairing loose downpipes. Pierce responded quickly to all my questions as to why my eavestroughs seemed to be leaking (they actually just needed cleaning) and his crew did a great job and left my back yard spotless. They reattached loose downpipes so that everything looks like new. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

My chimney had a large blockage, was missing tiles and had no rain cap so a racoon had got inside. Bill fixed everything and it looks like new; I can't believe the difference in the before and after pictures. He was a pleasure to deal with - it was just a small job so he fit me in around larger jobs but kept me posted as to when he would be able to do it (we kept being rained out). I would not hesitate to recommend him to others or to use him again.

I called the two eavestrough companies rated 1 and 2 on the Homestars website and left messages about needing my eavestroughs replaced numerous times - neither ever bothered to call me back. I called Top Top Trough and Pierce called me back promptly and came around to provide an estimate within a few days - exactly as he promised. He gave me the good news that he could repair, rather than replace my eavestroughs - and the repairs were done within about a week. I didn't need to be home for any of it. He was a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to call him again or recommend him to someone else.

A part of my flat rood had peeled off. I called Mr. Roof Repair and they had it repaired within 2 days; I didn't expect them to complete the work on the scheduled day because the weather was awful, but to my pleasant surprise, they did the work as scheduled. And I didn't have to be at home for any of it! I would certainly use them again.

Pesticon treated my house for mice two months ago. Mr. Ahmed assured me that once he finished, I would not see any more mice - and he was right - no signs of them anywhere! Mr. Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend him.

I had a persistent problem with ants and finally called GTA. Kevin was great - he arrived early, gave me lots of information about what he was doing, fumigated and completely got rid of the ants and gave a 6 month warranty. He was great to deal with and I would certainly use them again (although I hope I never have to!)

My carpet was as good as new after Fred cleaned it. I could not believe he was able to get all the stains out. He was on time, professional and helpful. I was very impressed and would certainly use him again!
