My client bought a house and asked us to renovate. The house hadn't closed yet, so we were relying on the vendors good will to afford us access for a measure up in order to get the permit process started.
Deep was Hired to do as-built drawings as part of a building permit submission to City Hall. So... the drawing needs to be accurate.
Two weeks after the measure up...He said the drawings were complete.
We sent him an E transfer. He sent us the drawings.
Upon review, the drawings had several mistakes. (4' wide bath tubs, windows the wrong size, 36" thick foundation walls, closets where there are none, stairs that disappear into thin air... I could go on)
We asked Deep to come back again to re -do. The hard part was that we had to ask the vendor for another visit to make good OUR mistakes. (yes when they make mistakes, I take ownership of my sub-trade's work)
He sent the revised drawings to me again a week later...., Still wrong.
So now, I have drawings that I can't submit to the city and I have to pay someone else to do them properly AND I have wasted three weeks of valuable planning time ahead of my client closing.
I asked Deep to consider sending me a refund either in full or a partial amount. He declined.
if you want something vague and hope City hall doesn't see the mistakes.. Get Orana.
If you want an accurate set of drawings as part of a complete building permit submission... Get someone else.
Deep: I told you... All you need to do is be reasonable. Instead, you get this.
Oh!... And by the way. I am going to have your credentials reviewed... I don't see your BCIN number, Engineers License or an OAA number anywhere on your website . Do you even have any credentials??
if any one wants to discuss the sea of mistakes this guy made, feel free to contact me,
