I am very glad that I've found Eugene (owner of Evolve electrical) here on Homestars. We've been having electrical issues in our detached garage (the breaker was tripping constantly). Eugene diagnosed the problem on his first visit, suggested a cost effective solution and fixed it during his second visit. He also went a step further and replaced all lighting fixtures in the garage, installed new weatherproof recepticle and corrected issues that the prior electrician left behing (which was the cause of problems for us in the first place). He is efficient, punctual & honest.

We have initially hired Main Drain & Plumbing over a year ago to renovate out bungalow basement (full plumbing reno with 2 washroom + kitchen rough-in, water drainage pipes replacement, sump pump, backwater valve, waterproofing etc). A year has passed and let me tell you that this is company that stands by their job! They came in on a short notice to do regular maintenance and pipe clean-out and fixed an issue with defective toilet (manufacturer's defect). I have also recommended them to my sister-in-law for her renovation project, and they did an outstanding job: demolition of the old pool and backfilled it within few days, installed new bathtub and replaced a whole bunch of pipes in the house, replaced all fixtures. Overall, we are very satisfied repeat customers and we highly recommend their services.

Main Drain&Plumbing came highly recommended from our friends and we have decided to hire them for our old bungalow retrofit renos after doing an extensive research and price comparison. It was a major project for us which included: -sump pump installation -backwater valve installation -main water line replacement -rough-in for two 3 piece washrooms + basement kitchen -laundry room relocation and rough in for drain -weeping tile replacemet Obviously, given that we were renovating an older house, we were extremely nervous about the “skeletons in the closets” when it came to plumbing. However, Stephan and his guys did an amazing job managing the project from very start to finish, they were very responsive to all of our requests, patient when asked questions, extremely clean (removed all the garbage after each stage of the project), went an extra mile to fix unexpected setbacks and stayed try to their original quote. Overall, I highly recommend their services, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I have hired Art-Drywall to do my newly remodelled basement. Arturo and Ricardo gave us a quote which was very reasonable and had efficiently managed the project from start to finish. They were quick and very polite, their crew drywalled the basement in under 2 days, taper took another 2 week to finish, everything was on schedule and as discussed. The guys are really responsive - Arturo came back twice to fix minor issues and did everything to make sure the clients are happy with the end result. Overall, Im very satisfied with their service, and would hсighly recommend.

We bought an older bungallo and were renovating basement from stratch as well as repainting the main floor. This company's owner, Vito, came in highly recommended by our friends and we decided to contact him for a quote. The price very fair when compared to other painters, he ran the project entirely from start to finishe- bought paint, patched wall where needed, primed new drywall and put two coats of finish paint, door and baseboard paint. Everything took less than 4 days from start to finish. Very satisfied with quality and speed of execution. Can recommend and will be contacting again for our next project!

We recently bought an older bungalow and had to replace all of the mechanical in the house - AC / water heater / furnace. To make long story short, after contacting a number of competitors (all of large box stores, 2 major rental companies, personal contacts) we decided to go with Convertible AC+Heating because we didn’t feel pressured during the sales process and they offered fair prices for American Standard line of products that we really liked. They took care of OPA credit processing as well. The installation process was very smooth - Dietrich was very thoughtful, offered his solutions on how to best route the pipes in the basement, was very professional and clean. The entire installation process went very smooth - I could not be happier. Thus far, base on my experiences, I recommend this company without reservations.
