Peter and the team at Floor and Bath Design did a great job on our renovation. We approached several companies for design ideas and pricing for a kitchen/main floor and master ensuite renovation. The concept suggested by Floor and Bath Design had the greatest appeal so we hired them. We are very pleased with the results. The project timeline was originally expected to be 8 to 10 weeks. However, with the current issues with COVID and supply chains the completion took 12 weeks. These issues were beyond the control of Floor and Bath Design. As an example, cabinetry parts which would normally have been in stock required several weeks to be delivered which caused a delay in kitchen cabinet installation. Peter was also very accommodating of our requirements when living in the house during the renovation. He was able to prioritize the scheduling of the laundry room and the powder room renovation to make them functional so that we would have both laundry and two functional bathrooms through most of the renovation. Finally, the designers at Floor and Bath Design were very supportive helping us to choose the finishes and other elements (colours, floor colour and material, cabinet style and handles, counter tops etc) that appealed to us but which would also look good together. We could not be happier with the end product.

During the summer, I previously hired TwinTech to replace my air conditioner when it failed. They did an excellent job so when I decided to proactively replace the furnace I contacted them. The furnace I had was 22 years old and showed signs of internal leakage. It still worked but rather than wait to have it fail in cold weather, I decided to purchase a higher efficiency model before it failed and take advantage of energy efficiency rebates. TwinTech offered very useful advice on the make and model of furnace to choose including high efficiency and variable speed motor. The price was reasonable, TwinTech arrived at the allotted time, installed the new furnace (including some re-routing of exhaust lines since the existing ones were too close to other vents), removed the old furnace, tested the installation and cleaned everything up. Overall, it was a good experience, they did a great job and the new furnace is working well.

I contacted Angelo since my backyard needed some work. The grass needed to be replaced, a couple of beds and a tree removed, and a flower bed with stone sides added. Previously, Angelo's company had done a nice job for us on an interlocking front walkway. The backyard landscaping was done well and we were very satisfied with the results.
