We purchased a 4 bedroom home in Kanata, discovering that asbestos in all the popcorn and tape mud. Safest, easiest solution for smooth ceilings (hate popcorn) was to re-cover everything. Roberto (owner) priced it fairly, but having worked at a contractor for many years, I was very pleased with timing. He was onsite day agreed, trades all lined up for boarding, taping, sanding on the very days expected AND the quality of the taping/finish work on butt joints was incredible quality. This was 2 years ago and just called to come back to complete some work from a kitchen and bath project we are wrapping up.
