We've been taking care of our own lawn for years, but last year we decided to hire a service to take it over. Hometurf performs all of the services in our package regularly and on time. I never need to call and ask when they're coming next. We had a chinch bug issue over the last couple of years too. Hometurf diagnosed it, treated it, and by the end of the summer, our lawn was recovering nicely. The only thing I can say that is negative is that we had to specifically ask their service person while he was here seeding about the dead areas in our lawn in order for him to take a closer look and diagnose the bugs. The dead zones were extensive and I'm surprised that he didn't see it himself, that we had to ask him to take a look at it. Besides this one thing, we are happy with the company and the condition of our lawn and would recommend them.

Ours is an older home in south-east Scarborough, very close to the lake, and was in desperate need of a heating and cooling system that could meet a variety of our needs. Cy came to see us within days of my initial phone call to him, and he spent a good two hours with us discussing our home and all of the options that best fit our needs. After getting two more quotes, we decided that Cy had presented us with the best solutions and price, plus we simply liked his honest, straightforward demeanor the best. He was very flexible and understanding in booking our installation date with us. On that date, his team arrived in a timely manner and worked tirelessly all day to complete our installation. The work done was clean, as they took care not to cause damage to our house (I.e. floors and walls), and they swept up very well after themselves. The furnace has been working very well over the last month that we've had it, and we look forward to the air conditioner working equally well come the summer. Cy doesn't consider the job complete until all equipment has been checked and calibrated during its working season, so we know he will be at our house come June to make sure that all is well with the a/c. He has been more than reasonable with our questions and concerns, and it has been a pleasure to work with him. We are confident that any and all future dealings with Cy and Spring Home Heating will be an equally pleasant and satisfying experience. Thank you Cy, and Happy New Year!
