I would STRONGLY recommend Sean and his team to family, friends and to everyone else really. They have to be the best of any contractors I have ever worked with. From competitive pricing, to professionalism, to help/suggestion on design details, they were top notch. They arrived on time, did the work exactly as discussed, at the price quoted, provided a reasonable price for one upgrade we decided on along the way, left the yard just as they found it, and explained all work and answered any questions clearly. Sean even came to the house on short notice one morning to meet with my window/door contractor so they could discuss some installation details (this is before Sean’s team had even arrived on site to start the job). The outcome of this job, combined with the new windows, doors, and metal work was nothing short of transformative. Quality of the work/finishing was also perfect…no complaints/concerns at all. StarTech was recommended to me by a co-worker that had used them and I am so glad that I listened! They even came back promptly to do some touch ups where the other trades had caused some minor cosmetic damage. Can’t say enough about these guys. I am a little late with this review as the job was done back in October, but still wanted to share my experience.

After having a small sewage backup in our basement, we had a few plumbers in to quote the job and went with Sergey from Tornado plumbing. Sergey arrived on time and was very professional...he spent the time needed to camera scope our 100 year old drains from multiple cleanout points to ensure he had a full picture of the problems and what work was needed to resolve them. In the end, we had to dig up and replace all drain pipes in the basement, and all drains underground running out to the city pipes (they were separated...collapsing...massive roots, etc). They used a pipe burst technique so we only had 2 small holes in our yard/driveway from the work. The Tornado team arrived at the time and date we had agreed to and the work was carried out quickly and efficiently as planned. Tornado's pricing was very competitive as I certainly received a few higher quotes for the exact same job. They even ran into one unexpected issue where they had some unplanned excavation and pipe replacement, but the invoice was still exactly to the penny of what they originally quoted. Sergey also took care of permits and inspections with the city and prepared the paperwork to claim my rebate for the backwater valve. Very satisfied...I would use them again for future plumbing needs and have already referred them to a neighbour who needs the exact same work completed. I strongly recommend Sergey/Tornado plumbing...they were one of the best experiences I have ever had with a trade.
