A large menacing maple in our backyard had spread its branches over our yard as well as the surrounding neighbors' yards. As the leaves grew in over the Spring, it blocked any sunlight from reaching our newly seeded lawn and flowers. The tree droppings required frequent cleanup. Todd and Matt showed up and made quick work of the tree, pruning off what must have been over 1000lbs, raising the canopy and transforming the tree from menacing to majestic! We, and our neighbors, are so happy with the great result. Chris is a true professional who doesn't give up until the job is done right! We had just moved into our new house in March, and as soon as the snow thawed we began to hear scratching and chirping in the walls of our bedroom. Upon further inspection we noticed a nice big hole on the side of our porch roof left by the previous owner. We called A Animal Removal for help. Chris and Ricky showed up when they said they would to inspect. Once they assessed the situation they got to work right away and installed a one-way door on the hole. We discovered that it was a raccoon that was in our porch roof, because it tried it's best to get back in. It tore off aluminum siding and shingles, and did some good damage, so Chris and Ricky went into our roof, and pulled out a litter of baby raccoons!!! Chris and Ricky fixed all the damage done by the raccoons, and even put in some nice custom-fit eaves to close up the holes in our porch roof. Searching for movers we contacted 5 companies, including the top 3 rated listings on this site. Arby Cartage was the only one to answer their phone. In the end, it turned out that they had the most reasonable pricing too. Booking was a simple process, and between the time of booking and the actual move date, Arby Cartage was responsive and replied to all our emails within a day, and/or called us back within a few hours of leaving a message. They followed up with us a couple days before our move date to go over the details and schedule of the move. Arby and Trevor showed up early on move day, and after a quick assessment of the situation got right to work. The truck was packed quickly and considerately, taking extra care to wrap certain items in protective blankets. When unloading at the house, they were cautious with our floors, took care of all our stuff. They were very friendly and easy to talk to throughout the entire process. Fast, focused and friendly, we will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them for your next move.
