On 14 Jan of 2010, i ordered a new Bosch cooktop and range hood from Goemans in St Catharines and put $500.00 down on the purchase It was indicated that the Bosch cook top was not in stock, but would be there in approx 2 weeks. The two weeks became FIV.E and we were without a stove for that period. However, I did pick up the range hood and in accordance with their policy. paid for it in full on pick-up. Similarly when I picked up the cook top in mid Feb, I was given a receipt indicvating my account was at a xero balance. In Jan 2010, the account rep in St catharines (Nichole?) called to say there had been an error and that, in fact I owed a further $400.20. She was puzzled as to how this occurred (given that their policy is to demand payment on pick-up) and even sent a copy of another invoice, prepared a week after my pick-up, that indicated this outstading amount. This despite the copy of an invoice, # S000016710, dated Feb 12 (the pick-up date) I have that clearly indicates zero balance! On calling the St Catharines office to discuss this, I was asked by the person answering the phone, (Ryan?) to call back in half an hour as the accountant was busy!!!!! Totally unbelievable customer relations. I would never deal with this establishment again.
