This is my second time reaching out to Peter for help on an appliance. A few years ago he helped me fix an issue with my stove, and I reached out again regarding a washer issue. I did have another company service my washer first as they were available the same week but they could not diagnose or fix the issue. So I called Peter again for his opinion and he was helpful with letting me know what the issue was and that it was not worth it for me to repair or to have him come down for a service call as the repair would be almost the same as buying new. I really appreciated his honesty. Can't say enough good things! Would highly recommend.

My tenants reported a cooling fan error in a Whirlpool oven that I only had for 6 years. I called Modern Appliance for a quote to complete the repair and Peter was very quick to reply to my email and mentioned it was worthwhile replacing the fan instead of buying a new one. We were able to schedule an appointment within a week thankfully during a time like Covid and he came within the time he mentioned also wearing a mask and gloves. It was a smooth transaction that we were able to complete online and it was hassle free for my tenants. I would use this company again if needed.

We had heard some noise coming from the roof of an extension to our house. When we inspected from the window, we saw a raccoon and each night we’ve had to scare it away. However, each morning we would notice ripped shingles and we were nervous it would find its way inside. I called AAA Gates Wildlife and was able to get an appointment in 2 days. Kieran came for the appointment and did an inspection on the roof. He explained to us why this could be happening and provided an estimate to us for prevention which we are reviewing. He even helped us with some cleanup of a couple loose shingles from the roof which was so appreciated and unexpected. All I can say is that we were very impressed with the service we received just from this appointment and I would not hesitate to call them again if I need their services.

Hi Lana, a little know fact is that raccoons and other animals are constantly seeking out new den sites to utilize should they need to move. I am glad to hear that this particular raccoon was unsuccessful in breaking into your house. Animal-proofing will help protect the vulnerable areas should the raccoon return.
