I used Closets by Design (from Barrie) for 8 closets in a brand new home in the Town of Blue Mountain. Lauren was the designer. She was very professional, came on the appointed time, measured everything very efficiently, asked for my ideas, made suggestions, and created an estimate on the spot for the 8 closets just to give me a ballpark. I compared to other companies, and chose CBD to proceed. We then refined the design a bit more, Lauren came to the site again to double check some measurements, and we had a few more conversations via text or phone. Overall Lauren was doing everything she could to make sure the design met my expectations of function and price. The date set for the installation was 2 months away (yes, they are busy), but they came on the planned date. (After giving me reminders on the week before.) Mark was the chief installer, and he was excellent. He addressed questions I had about double panels, made some minor adjustments that I asked without compromising the design, and seemed to really care that I be satisfied with the results. It took them 2 days to finish the installation, and they worked full days, no time wasted. They worked quietly and fast, left no mess at all, and knew what they were doing. In the end I was very pleased with the process and the results. I would highly recommend CBD Barrie for anyone looking for closets in the vicinity, and I will certainly use them again.

From the beginning to the end, service and quality were excellent. Jane was my designer, and the consultation process ensured she met my needs within my budget. Jane educated me on the different price points offered by CBD, and different options, so when we finalized the design, I was comfortable that the choices made were what I wanted. The installer arrived on time on the date planned, and was very fast without compromising on quality and attention to detail. During the installation of the mudroom, I had to choose the location of the shelves, and once chosen and installed, I realized that moving it 6 inches to the left would be better. He obliged, showing great customer service and without charging more for extra work that my poor choice caused him. Overall, great great service and value. I quoted with two other suppliers before choosing Closets by Design, both were more expensive, and I don't think the quality of the closets would have been any better than what I received with CBD. The only negative was the almost 10 week waiting time, but I looked at that as a sign that they were growing and busy because of the value. I highly recommend and would use them again. (The master closet - which was the largest - and one of the kids bedrooms is missing from the pictures. I would be glad to supply if someone from CBD or Homestar contacts me to get the pictures. )
