Niall and his team were a pleasure to have in our home. They did a great job with the crown moulding on our main floor. Despite some of the challenges of working in a century home, they were able to make it all work and were very thorough and detailed with all of the work they did. We are very happy with the work they did and will definitely be in touch again for future carpentry needs.

This review is long overdue! We had two staircases removed and installed. One of them had to be widened which meant being creative about how both staircases would connect to one another but Milton and his team did such a great job! Milton was very easy to work with and they had so many nice options and styles to choose from in the shop. The staircases are solid and all of the work was completed within the given time frame. I would definitely recommend them!

This review is long overdue but we couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Ed so we wanted to make sure we shared our experience. Ed was recommended to us by another company on HomeStars. We were in a jam and needed someone to install our drywall as soon as possible in order to continue with our renovations. Ed was so accommodating and willing to work around our schedule to help us out. His work is excellent. He takes pride in the work that he does and will not cut corners in order to speed things along. He has a lot of attention to detail and his experience shows in the quality of his work. The finish on the walls was smooth and seamless. Val was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From the day I called him, he did his best to accommodate our schedule and get started as soon as he was available. Our house had just undergone a major reno and Val was very careful and mindful of that. They covered the floors, kitchen area and even wrapped our stair rails. I had forgotten to move furniture out of the way of walls that needed painting and Val offered to do this for us and even put the furniture back when he was done. We really appreciated all of those gestures. The paint job was completed within the expected timeline. Val and his team were very efficient and were very kind when we decided to add some last minute walls to paint. We will definitely be calling Val again when we are ready to paint the second floor of our house. Thanks for everything Val!

We hired AFG Heating and Cooling on three separate occasions and there's a reason we keep going back to them. The first time we had them over, it was because our furnace was located in the center of the basement and we wanted to relocate it to another corner of the basement. We were very happy with the work and attention to small details that Fasi was able to share with us. Despite moving the furnace to one side of the house, they ensured that the air circulation was not affected by this. We were really happy with the work they did so we decided to hire them again when it was time to install our AC and central air. Again, we were not disappointed! Fasi is so knowledgeable and is always willing to go over multiple options before suggesting the best one. Lastly, we are in the process of finishing our basement and hired Fasi once again to install our vents in the basement. During our renovation process, we took down two load bearing walls that had some ducts running in them. Those ducts had to be redirected through other walls. Fasi found the least invasive way to get this done and the air circulation in all of the rooms feels more or less even. He took a job that I was anxious about (the thought of more holes being made in our ceiling made me cringe) and turned it into something painless and easy to deal with afterwards. Thanks again for everything Fasi! You are definitely our go to person with all things HVAC related!

When I first called Leuri, I was looking for someone who could start working on our renovations as soon as possible. The earliest time that Leuri had available was almost three months from the time we spoke. I thanked him for his time and told him we were hoping to find someone who could start sooner. However, based on the three minute conversation we had, something told me that I was not going to find better. I called him back within 5 minutes and scheduled to meet with him asap. It was the best decision we made and it was well worth the wait. Leuri was actually able to start a couple of weeks before the initial start date and completed everything ahead of or on schedule. The work he did was excellent and top notch. He was there everyday when he said he would be there and was really professional throughout the entire process. I was pregnant at the time and Leuri was very mindful of that. Since I could not spend a lot of time at the house during the renovations because I was pregnant, Leuri always informed me of anything that came up and made it easy for me to be away from home but still understand what was being done. He understood how important it was for us to get on with the renovations and did everything he could to complete things as quickly as he could for us. Leuri also never hesitated to help us out with jobs that popped up as part of other renovations we were doing. The framing in the basement looks great and Leuri was always helpful and collaborative when speaking with some of our other trades. Leuri made quite an impression on everyone who had the chance to meet him when he was over. He was even kind enough to bring us a gift for the baby when she was born and a jar of homemade tomato sauce following a conversation he had with my husband about it. I can't say it enough....he's just a really good person who genuinely cares for his customers! We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone we know.

We recently had The Brothers Flooring in to install new hardwood on the main floor and stain/paint our new stairs. Because it is an older home, we also asked them to level our floor. When I first reached out to Faddy, he setup a time to meet with me promptly and recommended their show room for some flooring options. The show room had enough variety and so many options to choose from. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the choice we went with. Faddy and his team were able to come in within two weeks to install the floor. We really appreciated that they did not require a lot of notice before starting. They spent the first day leveling out the floor. Unfortunately, we were not able to clear our entire space of the furniture for this to be done but they were kind enough to work around that and move things around accordingly in order to get the floor leveled as much as possible. Faddy was also conscientious about calling me anytime something came up or anytime he wanted to run something by me first since I could not be in the house during the renovations. The floor installation was great and quick. They stayed true to their timeline. There are a couple of areas that Faddy asked us to mark so that he can address them later on. We were very happy with their work and will have them back to finish our basement and floor on the 2nd floor. Lastly, I have to talk about the amazing stain and paint job Faddy did one our stairs. He spent so much time taping everything and was very diligent throughout the entire process. He worked well into the evening a couple of days to ensure that things were completed before our scheduled rails installation date. We really appreciated all of his input and honesty throughout the entire process. Thanks again and we look forward to having you back in a couple of weeks!

We could not be happier with the job that Daniel and his crew did over the five weeks they spent here. From the day I called Daniel, he was nothing short of helpful and attentive. He worked with us throughout the entire project and was always available to meet with us before the project started to go over some details. The crew who worked on our basement was here every morning at 7 A.M. sharp and ready to go. They were all very respectful, mindful and polite. They worked in the basement, and we stayed upstairs. We never felt like they were in our way and they were always mindful when they needed to go in through the front door or come upstairs to let a city worker in. The job itself looks great! What a HUGE difference. Daniel and his crew stayed true to everything in the contract. We did not have to pay more than what was reflected on the invoice (for the exception of something we added willingly). Daniel also told us that the job would be complete within 5 weeks and that deadline was met. We honestly couldn't be happier with the work they did and the company we went with. Having spoken and received quotes from other companies, I would choose True North again if I had to do it all over again or for any future basement related projects. Thanks!
