Sam renovated my grandmother's master bath when others told me that the job was too small for them to take on. She lives in a senior's condo and that was another reason that the others told me they couldn't do it. Sam was up for the challenge. With her being a senior I was also worried that she might be ripped off by overpricing. Sam was in full communication with me all the way and nothing was a surprise. He even met me at Rona and Home Depot to help me pick out faucets and tile so that I wouldn't buy the wrong thing. He has a very friendly demeanour and my grandma said he was very pleasant. She felt comfortable the whole time. He is a perfectionist which is impressive and led to a fabulous end result that the pictures just can't capture. I wish I had the ugly before pictures to show that it was a complete gut job. He and his team always made sure her place was kept spotless by cleaning up every day. The one thing I can say about Sam is that communication with him is very easy...he's always reachable. I highly recommend him and Planet Home Improvement. In fact, after her master bath reno, I had Sam do some work in my own home and am looking to call him back again for another job.

This company was exemplary in their work and communication. Tony gave a timely quote that was very competitive. When I met him he was very patient with all of my questions. Westwood left me with new, beautiful, black eavestroughs. He also removed old brown aluminum from around my garage and refaced it in black. In addition, I had installed new cedar undersiding on my front porch roof and he trimmed it nicely with the black aluminum to complete the look. I highly recommend these guys.

We have an IDENTICAL story to Lola - downtown. We also contracted owner Mark of Ont. Custom Glass to install a glass & metal railing for our front porch, AND a wood/glass railing for inside our home in Toronto. He was ALSO terrific the first time we met him. He even did our glass shower door in our master bathroom and it was great which is why we proceeded to give him the railing job. The outside metal rail was put in but not primed or painted as he said he would do to prevent rusting...guess what? It's completely rusted now. He installed the wood posts and rails inside but never painted those either, and has also not put in our glass! We had to put plywood in there so the kids wouldn't fly through. He used to answer our calls but not for the past month, and he has almost all $7700. He was always late for appointments and then gradually stopped showing up. We just filed a complaint on the BBB website (too bad I just saw the "F" rating now :(( ) Our next step is small claims court later today. Please do NOT use this company or Ontario Custom Granite which he also owns.
