We hired A&A to do some repairs to cracked brick and cinder blocks in our basement, install a vent in our coldroom, and to place a cap on some exposed brick above our garage. Although there were some initial delays in getting the initial quote, we were patient as we are repeat customers and wanted to work with A&A again. Once the "ball was rolling" Bill gave us very detailed, itemized quote and discussed options we hadn't considered. Once we decided to proceed with the work Andy was extremely prompt in responding and scheduling the work. Both Andy and Dwight were flexible in timing because of our work schedules and Dwight even agreed to arrive at 7:15am and then return in the afternoon after my husband would be home to return our key. Despite the rain and early start Dwight was very pleasant. He came prepared, knowing what the work entailed, and we went over everything to make sure we were on the same page. The work was done very well and we returned home to such a clean work space you wouldn't have known Dwight had been doing masonry work! This cleanliness, pleasantness, professionalism, and QUALITY work are the reasons we are repeat customers.

We hired A&A last year to fix the tuck pointing in places around our bungalow, repair concrete around a basement window, and replace a few missing bricks in the garage. Also (the major job), to replace our front stone/brick steps. We waited to do this review because we wanted to see how the work fared. A&A repaired the brick/tuck pointing of the base and replaced the top and steps with concrete with a bullnose edge. One of the reasons we selected A&A (despite the fact that they were the highest quote we received) was the thoroughness of their initial inspection. Pierre was the only one to check the foundation of our steps. Bryton and his team were courteous, professional, did their best to protect our boxwood (despite the inconvenience, I'm sure), double checked with us about what we wanted along the way, were tidy, hardworking, and even sustained a wasp attack. One thing that impressed us about A&A was their accountability/guarantee of service. When we noticed a couple of spots where the tuckpointing had been missed (easy to do on a vast brick wall, I'm sure!) they returned promptly. This winter there was an issue with the surface of the concrete flaking but this spring they returned to repair the concrete. We were very pleased with their service and workmanship. We will definitely hire A&A again when it's time to repair our chimney. The A&A team are professionals that produce quality workmanship and who stand behind their guarantee.

Several families in our neighbourhood had used OSC to replace their asphalt driveways. Impressed by the finished product, we contacted them. Frank was very timely in returning our call and arranging an appointment. He suggested different options for us to choose from and helped us to understand what was allowable within the municipal by-laws. Although we were new to this type of work, we had done our homework. Frank and his crew did everything beautifully, including putting down a good base, allowing sufficient time for settling of that base prior to asphalting, they used new (not recycled!) commercial grade asphalt, and laid down a proper depth. Watching the crew work was impressive. They were tidy, efficient (they had 3 steam-rollers!), amazingly well coordinated, paid close attention to detail, were polite, and obviously took great pride in their work (and deservedly so). We would definitely recommend OSC to friends and family.
