Have been enrolled in their "Complete Program" lawn care service for 3 years now and am happy with their service and resprays when necessary. The only concern I have is that even with the overseeding application in the spring, there are still areas that have little or no grass, which are susceptible to weed growth.

I heard about this company through a mailed advertisement. Since I spent a lot of time on weed control last year, I decided to try lawn care service this year to free up time for gardening and other things. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the service I received, other than the strip of grass between my driveway and my neighbour's driveway, which continued to grow a lot of weeds. Also, it's too bad the lawn care service doesn't include my interlocking patio since the weeds still continued to flourish here during the warm months. I have renewed for a second year and will write another review after that season.

We dealt with Edwin, who was very nice gentleman. He was very patient in helping with our selections and explaining the difference between solid wood and MDF. We went to the showroom several times before finalizing our cabinet and door handle selections. He then came to our house to make the final measurements and also provided a sample door for us to see how it would look against the wall paint, floor tiles and lighting in our kitchen. Since we gutted our kitchen, he also provided the measurements to our contractor so that he would know where to install the plumbing. Once Edwin's crew installed the cabinets, we found a few issues with the installation (e.g., nail holes showing, cabinets not lining up, visible edges in the crown moulding), but he had someone come back to fix things to our liking. All in all, we had a great experience with Edwin and MC Kitchen.

Kamfair Drapes installed drapes throughout our newly purchased home. Although his showroom is small, he has a lot of photos of his work. He also has a large selection of drapery material to choose from as well as rods and end caps. If you're new to drapes, he takes the time to explain all the different terms (e.g., box pleat styles, sheers, finials, etc.). He also came to our house to take measurements and lent us sample materials to help us make our decisions based on the wall paint and the lighting in each room. It was a pleasure dealing with Andrew!

Stanley was recommended to us by a friend. He is a general contractor but we only hired him to paint our entire house and put up wallpaper on one wall. Stanley is very meticulous and particular about the way he paints. The quality of his work is definitely top notch. But that's not the only thing that makes a good contractor. Here's what we disliked: - One of his team members spilled a large amount of paint on our carpet and didn't say anything until I saw it. Stanley tried to clean it out with a bit of luck, but there is now a permanent stain. - There were other small random paint spills on the carpet. These were not as big a deal, but they should have been more careful or covered the carpet better. - Stanley is very poor with time management. They took long lunch breaks. It turns out they would go to another job, do work there, and come back a few hours later. If they focused more, they could have easily finished the job in 3 days. But they worked a few hours here and there, and it felt like they were here way too long. - Stanley has very poor customer service. He promised to come at noon one day, so we rearranged our plans to wait for him. He didn't show up until 5pm and didn't have the courtesy to call us to let us know. I tried calling his cell but it went straight to voicemail. When he showed up, he had no excuse for why he was late. - English is not Stanley's first language, and we sometimes found that to be a barrier in communicating with him. Overall, we liked his workmanship, but the cons far outweigh the pros. Therefore, we would not hire him again and would not recommend him to our friends.

Raymond and his crew (3 in total) were recommended to us. They were very efficient (they didn't take any breaks), they didn't damage anything, and they were very inexpensive. We were very satisfied with their service.

Italian family owned business with good workmanship. Installed glass & marble mosaic tiles for kitchen backsplash over a 1.5-day period. The project was pricy due to the tile that we selected, but the quality of the tile and the workmanship were worth it.

I had a few rooms painted and was very happy with the results. The work was professional and reasonably priced. Mark was friendly and very helpful with colour/paint finish options. I would definitely recommend him to others!

We saw a stove in their showroom and got a good price for it. Since we went on a weekend, they were pretty busy and we had to wait about 20 minutes before a sales rep could help us out. After shopping around at other stores, we decided to purchase the stove and went back on a weekday morning to complete the paperwork since we assumed they would be less busy then. Surprisingly, even though there were 2 or 3 customers in the entire store and 4 or 5 sales reps, we had to wait an hour before someone was able to help us out. Other than the slow service, we were pretty happy with the stove though. It was delivered on time as promised, the delivery guys were courteous, and there were no damages or scratches.

We booked our move for 1pm weeks in advance and packed everything neatly into boxes beforehand. Since we were moving from an apartment, we could only reserve the moving elevator for a 1-4pm time slot that day. When 1pm arrived, we started to get worried. After an hour of calling their office with no answer and leaving several messages (the company doesn't give out the movers' cell phone numbers), we decided to book a U-Haul truck. When we left 10 minutes later to go pick up the truck, the security desk at the apartment called to notify us that the movers had arrived. The movers then called our cell phone to tell us they were waiting outside our unit. So, we had to drive back to the apartment and cancel the U-Haul truck. We got back to the apartment at 2:30pm, where neither of the two moving guys apologized for showing up 1.5 hours late. They had our number so they should have had the courtesy to call us to tell us they were late. The movers asked me if we wanted a 3rd mover since he just finished another move but it would cost $110/hr instead of $85/hr, so we agreed since we only had 1.5 hours left to move and needed all the help we could get. The movers then took their time moving items down to the truck and organizing them neatly inside. One of the movers even gave himself a break to eat inside the truck. Basically we ended up helping the movers carry boxes down to the truck. By the time the 3rd mover showed up, it was 3:45pm and we were rushing to get everything on the truck. We ended up having to leave smaller items behind to move later by ourselves. The 30 minute drive through rush hour was not too bad and the unloading process was fast. Overall, the move itself went ok (with a few scratches and a dent on the walls and some scuffs on the floor caused by the movers, which we could live with), but was VERY stressful because we were on such a tight time constraint. Although their pricing was good, we would not recommend them because they are VERY difficult to get a hold, they take a REALLY long time to return messages, and they did not have the courtesy to let us know they were running late. Plus we basically hired the 3rd mover to sit through traffic to the house and help unload the truck, which was a pretty easy task anyway.
