We went through a handful of different plumbers who always found a way to either be incompetent or overcharge us for what was quick but shoddy work. Exasperated, we contacted Andrew from Caldwell Plumbing who scheduled a visit.

When he arrived with his worker, they quickly were able to spot several critical mistakes that were made by previous plumbers, as well as some work that had just not been done at all! Also, they found that our foundation was leaking! Though we were extremely disappointed and frustrated, we toiled away. We contacted people to have the foundation repaired and contacted them again once that was done.

This time, the vanity and toilet installations were done properly and in a thorough manner. The job site was left perfectly clean at the end. However, it was discovered that the shower would be problematic as the drain needed to be relocated (again) due to shoddy work by one of the previous plumbers. That was done and the shower was installed.

However, there was a small problem ; 2 of the window panes for the shower had been installed in reverse which created a gap from which water was escaping! No worries. The worker came back a few days later to uninstall them and reinstall them in the proper orientation which solved the leaking issue.

Throughout our entire experience with Caldwell Plumbing, Andew was communicative, willing to speak to us (some contractors shy away from that), answered all our questions, and was willing to solve the aforementioned issue. During our year-long renovations, we needed to hire contractors from all disciplines. Somehow, great plumbers kept escaping us. Well, no more. The quality of the work, the work ethic, and especially the communicative attitude of Andrew sold us big-time on Caldwell Plumbing. They now have a customer for life. I will make sure to contact them with any future projects. Thanks again for everything, Andrew!
