I’m not sure what happened but my recent experience was not as positive as some of the other reviewers.
After receiving a appraisal of the job I had, and reading the positive reviews of others I booked Got Junk to clean out my late fathers condo.
It was almost a month out.
On the day of I called just to make sure everything was still a go and was told the team would call me when they were 15-20 minutes away. 5 minutes before the scheduled time I called to inquire what was happening and was told they would be calling me right back. Unfortunately when I did get the call back I was told they were at another job and would be a while. They asked if I could reschedule or extend the time for the moving elevator, both which was not possible. I was then told that he would call his boss and get back to me, which did not happen. I ended calling them back and was told a truck was on its way.
A truck did arrive almost 1.5 hours after the time they were supposed to be there.
The only thing that saved the day, as well as this not being a 1 star rating was the 2 guys that did show up were excellent, they really hustled to try get everything out of the unit. If the condo had not given me a little more time we would not have been able to get as much as we did out, and as it is a dresser was left behind.
I think next time I will call around and do my homework more carefully before booking.
