Bird Nest Removal and Clean up
I previously had a very negative experience removing another bird nest (a company I cannot recall, via Kijiji) which resulted in a follow up visit from an exterminator and a several hour cleanup leaving 1 bathroom unusable. Unfortunately I had another bird get in another vent (near the previous one) and felt very stressed given my past experience. I did some research this time via BBB and found Gates Wildlife Control (which had an A+ rating and a significant amount of positive feedback). Nick, the technician who supported me, was absolutely fantastic to deal with (appointment was 830am, he was there 15 mins early at least). He talked me through the process and did a very thorough job. Additionally, he gave me some piece of mind by checking out my other outside vents to validate their security as well as following up on the previous job that I had done. It's never fun having your home invaded by animals but it was a pleasant experience dealing with Nick and Gates company. The support desk is also very courteous and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is experiencing pest issues (they are also very humane).

Hi Ruel, kudos to you for doing your homework before hiring a wildlife company the second time. As you found out there are MANY fly-by-night wildlife removal companies. Our research indicates that 25% of all companies go out of business each year. I am sorry that you had to experience the down-side of this industry.
