My experience with this company was very disappointing.
Like an earlier reviewer, I too booked a day off work in order to meet Andrew at our predetermined time, only to be stood up.
When I finally reached him later that day, he gave me an excuse about having an emergency call to go to. Whether that was true or not, the fact is that he didn't have the courtesy to call me. He just left me sitting there. I was quite upset but he seemed apologetic and rescheduled for the following week.
Again, I took the day off work. And AGAIN he was a no-show!!
Not even a phone call! I could hardly contain my anger when I got a hold of him on the phone but at this point I was desperate to have the work done immediately because I had guests coming over for a backyard party within days. He guaranteed he'd be there the next day and took a few dollars off the final bill.
The next day he finally showed up with his crew.
At this point I could no longer take another day off work so I left them to do their job. By the time I returned, they were already packed up and leaving. The work seemed fine and they had cleaned up after themselves but when I took a look around, I realized they'd done less than the bare minimum that I requested.
I paid $650 dollars for a service I thought I wouldn't have to repeat for 10 years. Now I'm back here trying to find another Tree Service to do the work that they neglected.

We chose Andrews and Sons as they have worked for us before and actually did a pretty good job. This time they were hired to remove a tree for us, trim some other trees and remove deadwood. They completed the tree removal but not the rest of the work because some tool had broken. However, we paid in full expecting the company to return soon to complete the work.

Unfortunately, more than 4 months later we are still waiting. Many telephone calls to the office not responded to. We did at some point manage to get Kevin Andrews on the phone but he basically told us he was not going to come back to complete the work. No valid reason given, and not a great way to treat a repeat customer.

We called Kevin Andrews to cut down part of a substantial tree. He responded quickly to our inquiry at a busy time of the year and arrived to do the job within a few days. He and his crew did the job quickly for a very reasonable price and did a good job of cleaning up the site afterwards. We would be happy to use his tree-cutting service again.

After reading all of the great reviews on this website, we hired Kevin Andrews to remove a dead maple tree in our backyard and grind the stump out so that we could replant a new tree. Kevin told us that he would arrive on August 1 so I took the day off work to meet with him. He was a no show. I called several times before he finally answered and we rescheduled for August 3rd. He was 4 hours late but I still gave him the benefit of the doubt. Kevin quoted us $800 for the whole job and after a couple of hours of work, he said that the guy with the "stumper" to grind out the roots wasn't available until the end of the week but that they would return to get the job done in just a few days. It has been over a month, nearly 25 calls to Kevin's office and cell phone, and no one has shown up. Unfortunately, our money is long gone as Kevin made sure to collect it in cash so we are now left with a huge stump in the middle of our yard (see picture) and out of pocket for the cost of completing the job. Be wary of this company.

Our large backyard needed to be "cleaned". Completely overgrown bushes and trees, dead limbs on all trees, a big mess. Nothing done in at least the last 20 years! Found Andrews and Sons here and decided to give them a try. I could NOT be happier!! I will definitely recommend them to everybody. The work was done in two hours, they worked like dogs, they were friendly, efficient and kind!! Don't waste your money on any other company! Love the fact that it's family run.

Earlier this year, our front yard cedar collapsed due to snow damage. I obtained several quotes for the work, however, Andrews and Sons had the best price, was friendly, and gave professional advice. Mr. Andrews and team did an excellent job of removing the tree, as well as pruning our large, neglected backyard maple. They were very accommodating (we had a very tight schedule), and extremely skillful.
