Carlos of Arco Iris gave us the best price (of five contractors) and result on replacing our very thin, root-heaved basement slab (after all planning was done on our part, a wise requirement to ensure clear specifications, done August 2006), adding Delta MS membrane, interior weeping tile and filling in over new main drain (different contractor). His cement finisher stayed most of the day to give a very smooth finish to the slab. He's now underpinning a friend's basement & prepping for a heated slab, and they're very happy with work so far (2/3's done).

I hired Carlos (superviser) at Arco Iris based on a recommendation from a contractor friend. Arco Iris is a professonal licenced company with highly skilled workers who take pride in their work. The work was carried out very efficiently, but not rushed. Without them telling me I noticed that the brick post that was build and left to set, was removed and then rebuilt... apparently it wasn't quite right. The end result was superb craftmanship and Carlos' personal touch made things very smooth and pleasant. Although they aren't cheap, the work is top quality and done the way it should be.
