We redesigned and renovated a 1956 bungalow from top to bottom. The scope of work included removing walls, replacing and adding windows, new roofing, new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, flooring, 3 new bathrooms and a custom kitchen. Chad Attard was highly recommended by two friends as well as our architect, and we couldn't be happier with the final result. Chad's crew (James, Kyle and Lucas) were pleasant, efficient and conscientious, and the work was completed to a very high standard. We would certainly recommend Chad and Attard Construction!

We hired Attard Construction to complete a major interior renovation. Chad was fantastic from start to finish. He had many great suggestions and was very meticulous. The quality of his work is outstanding, he was always easy to get in contact with and answered all questions. The renovation quote was detailed, itemized and updated throughout the reno as we made changes. All workers were professional, hard-working and left the site clean. The renovation was completed according to schedule. We are very happy with the results and would recommend Attard Construction to anyone thinking of renovating.

Mark completed a substantial two-story addition plus renovation of our existing house.  From start to finish Mark was fantastic.  He is very calm and easy to work with.  He listens and gives excellent advice and suggestions.   His attention to detail ensured the project ran smoothly, on time and stress free.  As mentioned by other reviewers, Mark is honest, is on the project every day and follows everything through to completion.   In addition, the workmanship of his team (James, Jordan and Kyle) and his trades exceeded our expectations. Everyone on the project was very pleasant and polite. They kept the worksite and surrounding area clean. Despite the inconvenience of a worksite next door, our neighbours really liked them.  We recommend Mark without reservation!   

Mark and his team, James, Jordan and Kyle were amazing to work with. Mark kept us informed of everything and he was on time and on budget. We had a tight budget and Mark was extremely helpful offering alternative choices so we had a great design at reasonable prices. Attard did a great job of meeting tight timeline and being there when they said they would. They were on time and did a great job in terms of quality (especially the tiles). Chad Attard was great for suggesting innovative ideas to enhance the value of the house and also recommending areas where to save cost. I felt I always got an honest answer and they are very responsive

We can't recommend Mark and his team highly enough. Mark and his crew were either on-site or in touch almost every day. We asked for this significant job to be done in four months, while we lived here, and they delivered. The calibre of work and determination to address any challenges throughout the project gave us peace of mind. The project was kept on budget and the price was reasonable for quality work. Mark's calm manner and evident competence was much appreciated in getting us through the inherent upheaval with a project like this. We love our new house.

This was our third project with Attard, and again they exceeded expectations. They helped us take our outdated basement into a space our family uses daily. They and their tradespersons provided invaluable advice on design and functionality. They were courteous and prompt, and they even let me have my way when my visions were a bit beyond the scope. What a transformation! Attard Construction has made our home a place that we are now proud to invite guests. A complete renovation of our entire main floor, inculding removal of two support walls, couldn't have gone smoother.

Chad was focused from the beginning, on making sure we were getting everything that we could have dreamed of. Chad also presented many extraordinary ideas that we had not even thought were possible. He made sure all requirements were in place regarding engineering and city permit details.

From day one of demolition, things progressed quickly. Mark and James worked hard and their efforts were evident at the end of each day. We tried to stay out of their business, but like most homeowners, we had a few questions along the way. Chad and Mark were always willing to answer our questions and relieve any concerns, making the whole experience seamless for us.

From the beginning to the end, Mark has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He listened to all of our requests and incorporated all of them without any reminders. He kept us well informed throughout the entire process which ensured that there were no surprises. We especially loved the work that John, the stone mason did on our property.
Among the work performed were: new driveway, front porch, stone walkway, stone patio, deck, essentially everything outside.
The work went so smoothly, the time that my wife and I planned to oversee the project didn't happen because everything went as planned.
Mark went over and above what would be expected from a contractor and will definitely hire them again when we conduct further renovations on our home. Attard Construction is highly recommended.

We hired Mark and Chad to completely gut and renovate our 1930s Kingsway home and build a 2-storey addition. It was a big and complicated job. But they were on time and on budget and great to work with. Unlike most contractors, they were on site working each and every day until the job was finished. Their fees were also reasonable with no surprises. Any issues that came up during the renovation (and there always are in a project like this one) were handled fairly and professionally. They have also been responsive whenever I called them afterwards with questions or issues. We are very happy that we hired Attard Construction and would recommend them highly.
