Barabco Design/Build

I am completely satisfied with the fine quality 2 storey addition and garage designed and built by Barabco. The entire process from conceptualization, architectural design, permit application and approval through to construction was transparent. Mike and his staff were courteous, professional, and available. The final cost was in keeping with the contract estimate.

Mike, Andy and the rest of the crew at Barabco were terrific. They came when they said they would, were very careful to maintain the mess, cleaning on a daily basis, and helped with improvements to the plans to make sure that we would be happy and confident in the integrity of the end product .They followed up above and beyond expectations, offering to help us with challenging tasks and then doing so. There were no surprises or project over-runs on budget.

I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any renovation or building project.

Roof work and stucco redone on our large home. The work quality was very good. There were some misunderstandings about followup, but several years later Barabco is coming back to do warranty work and further work that's needed on our home.

The crew at Barabco treated our family and home as if it were their own. Throughout the project, Paul and Mike helped guide us through every aspect of design, contruction and completion with complete attention to detail and our budget. The whole crew was very professional and courteous, and the end result is fantastic. We are constantly getting compliments from neighbours and guests regarding the quality of the job. Barabco came and gave us a budget to work from. They did what they said they were going to do and built us a great home. Honest, hard working people always seemed to be on site every day. I enjoyed coming to the house and talking to everyone. The house looks and works great for me and my family. We did some changes and up-grades so the end price came out and little higher but you get what you pay for with Mike and Paul. I would never use anyone else again. Thanks guys!

I should have listened to a bad recomendation when it was truthfully given to me by someone whom I respect ! I went on previous experiences when I used this company 15 years ago. The only difference was that the contractor ,who no longer is connected with this company,was not the individual that I unfortunately gave my trust ,my home and my money to! Every aspect of the work that I undertook with Mr. Bordo went completely well over his estimate,needed to be redone and caused us unbelievable anguish. Thank goodness we discontinued when we did!

I have learned a valuable lesson about what to expect when using a general contractor courtesy of my dealings with Paul @ Barabco. In short, you need to be prepared to go in as partners if you want success. A renovation of any size is a complex animal requiring ongoing dialogue and understanding. Paul is a professional and despite my second guessing him through the process, he remained true to delivering what he promised, even when it required him coming back 5 years later. I will use Barabco again because they deliver great quality and they see the job to the end. They aren't cheap and they are worth it.

Barabco did an incredible job with our kitchen and bathroom renovation. Prior to commencement of the project they provided us with a 3-D computer generated rendering of exactly what the final job would look like. It was so helpful to have this visual aid before jumping into the project. They also provided a spreadsheet with an exact cost breakdown of all fees associated with the project. This was very helpful for my wife and I to see what everything cost. In the end, our kitchen and bathroom looks spectacular (just like the drawings as promised). Not only did they come in on budget, but they finished the job exactly when they said they would. I've since recommended this company to a friend who had Barabco renovate his kitchen; this can be dangerous but the good news is we're still friends and his kitchen looks incredible.

We had a lot of work done on our house, and, most recently, on our basement. For a competitive price, Paul and his men gutted my entire house, created a kitchen, basement, bathroom, and more -- in very little time, very neatly, and with wonderful people on the job. It was an absolute pleasure doing work with Paul, and I don't think there's anyone better than him in Ontario. I recommend him to everyone. He also happens to be very funny. And for that, I give him even more than the available points!
