full gut/renovation/underpinning
Came highly recommended, but was a total disaster. This company could not read architectural drawings. Miscommunicated cost of project. Sloppy workmanship.....never used a level, everywhere they used caulking has cracked within 1 year. Recommended substandard products. Used incompetent trades. Left the job unfinished. Had to re-do tiling at my own expense. Terrible hardwood floor installation...1/8" gaps between floor boards...can see nails! Window left open during rain storm...flooded bedroom and ruined hardwood damaged ceiling beneath....wouldn't take any responsibility to repair damage even though it was his tradesperson who left window open. Crooked walls/ceilings. Poor drywall finishing. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

- Know your project details. Have all product details finalized and ordered prior to beginning reno. Know the municipal building codes that apply to your reno, get a permit and make your building inspector your best friend. If you see something your contractor is doing that doesn't sit well in your gut...go with that gut instinct until you're satisfied that the job is being done correctly. Hire an independent project consultant/manager to make sure things are being done correctly.
