Brad's Junk Removal

Called for a quote. I assumed I had maybe 1/3 of a truck load. Big couch. Said he wouldn't come to my area for less than a full truck load which was $700 or something. (Fyi I live on the Vancouver/burnaby border, just off the freeway). Threw the big companies under the bus 3 separate times saying they're gonna charge me well over $1000. Makes a lot of jokes, seems like a "funny guy". You can tell he's rude if you scroll down on Google reviews to see his rude response to bad reviews. It's why I'm reviewing here. Maybe less likely for his sparky responses. I told him I'd just use someone else and yet again he said good luck it'll be expensive.
Well I used Just Junk and it was $450 after tax and tip. They were super professional over the phone, no wise cracks or attempt to be rude about the competition. It made me appreciate the nuances of having a big business, and it eliminates having to deal with unprofessional attitudes and the "I just don't wanna come to your area for less than X" mentality.
If you have patience for wise cracks and you have a big job I'm sure he'll be great. Just a weird attitude that rubbed me the wrong way. Not for me.

Brad's Junk removal was recommended to me. Brad provided same day service which is what I needed. Brad was in full communication before the pickup. He and his assistants arrived promptly. They took care of things professionally and efficiently! He even took a couple of additional items that were not discussed during the pricing quote. Thank you Brad and team!

Brad is dishonest, tells you $500 but $800 when he arrives. Then he billed me for $840 but said don’t worry I can write it off. Avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs. Guy is really sleazy. Many other choices out there so don’t risk your money with Brad, he will most certainly disappoint.

Brad is a slick talking snake oil salesman that is dishonest and out to make a buck at any and all costs to you. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for your junk removal needs. And I would get a written contract and a receipt. I didn't do either with Brad and it cost me dearly when he caused a substantial fine from my Strata council and he accepted no responsibility. He had been paid so he was no longer concerned about my needs. A very unreliable business man and person.

We worked with Brad to remove dirt from our perimeter dig. It was awesome - he showed up same day, bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule and came in at a reasonable price. It was a tough job (moving dirt) and we're glad we used brad. New equipment too which is always a perk to work with!

I am a university professional who used Brad's junk removal recently and didn't get what we expect. While he showed up as scheduled and on time, A FULL truck did not mean a FULL truck. We got charged $700 instead of the $500 quoted on his website because our load was "oversized" and we had a few mattresses and electronics. He was very rude and screamed most of the time while I tried to communicate with him. He did not show trustworthy behaviour. Highly recommend that you avoid using his services.

Brad picked up the phone when I called. He was very friendly and asked for the volume of junk to be removed. He drove a truck to come pick up my junk and disposed of it accordingly. Simple and sweet but nonetheless professional.
