Just had Tropical top up the insulation in my attic.
They arrived on time,(with masks) got the job done quickly and professionally and cleaned up perfectly including the driveway.
I would recommend this company.

A very satisfying experience: a fast response to our request for assessment; a thorough and professional inspection; a fair and reasonable quote; and a quick follow through to complete the job. The the work was done very well, with care to not damage the work area and a full clean-up afterward, plus a review of what was done, accompanied by pictures.

The whole process was extremely smooth. The staff and installers were very friendly. The actual install was awesome because the crew was punctual and worked very efficiently. If you have to get your attic insulated... I would definitely recommend these guys! Already feeling the AC much more within hours on the top floor!

At first, I had not seriously considered using cellulose as a solution, but Gary followed up and took the opportunity to provide his point of view after doing a very thorough investigation of the attic. He asked questions and assembled a recommendation. No other insulator who visited did this and it was impressive. He won me over and we went ahead. The staff showed up right on time. They were Tropical employees and not sub-contractors, very friendly, courteous and fast. Whole job done in 1.5 hrs for approximately 1000 sq feet. Showed me after photos when the job was done and walked me through the work completed. Images were then supplied next day. Temperatures up stairs on the hottest day of the year dropped by 4 degrees C. I was blown away. At night the temperatures for upstairs and down stairs are the same! This was the best money I ever invested into my home in years. I can’t recommend them enough.

I have nothing but good words for Tropical Insulations, Inc. From the time I submitted a service request to Home Stars, the company has been very attentive. Gary, their estimator is very professional in his dealings. He's detail oriented and methodical. I was given a very quick installation schedule and they accommodated my preferred date. The 2 installers did an excellent job in ensuring the contract details are addressed. Allan, the person who put on plastic covering on my floor all the way to the room where the attic hatch is located is very conscientious and meticulous. I have never encountered a crew that does a very clean job. They started and completed the work on time. I will surely recommend this company to friends. Please keep up the good work and take care of your employees as they are the reason people like me would hire companies like you.

I've recently had a great experience with this company.

I requested a quote via homestars and within the week met with an estimator, Gary. He gave me a very detailed quote and also suggested some improvements I could do myself. A week after I signed the contract the installers came and quickly and tidily did the job.

I'm thrilled; my second floor is no longer a sauna by the end of a hot day.

Great job, on time. I could set my watch 11 30 am right on.
Site was left clean. Check attic afterwards, done as per quotation.

Great service, very thorough in their pre-installation recommendation to ensure the work is performed properly. Very flexible and accommodating and fast service. Felt difference immediately in the home. the installers were very professional and personable. Tropical Insulation did the attic insulation for my house in mid December, 2019, I waited for 2 months before writing this review so I can provide accurate feedback about the service. I'm happy to say that I'm very satisfied in dealing with our sales rep Walter, manager Mark, office admin Adrienne and lead technician Gino for all the technical inquiries I made regarding material standard, work process and eligibility for Enbridge rebate. Most importantly, the heating comfort of my house has definitely improved afterwards.

There are many sub-standard insulation contractors in the market who don't provide detailed specifications in their quotes. Walter impressed me as technically proficient, patient and trustworthy. Their price is also reasonable. As added confidence to me as customer, I discovered that they actually were the original attic insulation manufacturer and contractor of my house when it was built!

I highly recommend this company.

Our home is 20 years old. We added insulation to the attic and upgrade it up to R60. Tropical Insulation did a very good job. Our home is much warmer. The team was friendly and they placed plastic along the path of the equipment and also covered surrounding areas. Job well done.
