They were the first to respond to my request for a quote. They clearly took COVID-19 seriously (important to me). They had me confirm that no one in my household had symptoms, and confirmed the same of their crew. They wore masks the entire time . Very thorough inspection & a detailed quote. I had a bit of extra work to do before getting the insulation blown in, but they walked me through what I needed to do. On the day of the work, they arrived on time, were friendly, wore masks, finished quickly, very tidy & provided photos. Plus, they were the lowest price of the quotes that I received (I have a small attic & all the others had a minimum rate). I already notice a difference in temperature in my house. Would recommend.

A terrific experience from quote to completion. With Tropical you get a complete and detailed quote up front. The crew who came were courteous and professional. They brought me up to the attic to show me what they were doing and took pictures to review with me once complete. We are already noticing the furnace is not going on as often! In the world of "you get what you pay for", this is another reinforcing example of that adage.

I contacted Tropical Insulation to enhance the insulation in the attic of my home. They were efficient in responding to my request. The sales person came to first inspect the attic and determine if there was any issues to proceeding. They deterimined I needed to first replace some wiring before the job could proceed. I arranged to have an electrician make the upgrades to the potlights in the master bathroom. Tropical Insulation then re-inspected the work done by the electrician and then arranged for the insulation to be installed. All went smoothly, and the work completed to my satifaction. Great service all the way around.

You can tell the company is experienced since they went over all the aspects that needed to be prepped (parking arrangements, closing off spaces for pets, etc.).

Great work and customer service. The employees were polite, careful, cleaned up after themselves and showed us the work that had been completed. They also explained everything and what had been done.

I had multiple quotes for the attic, and Gary provided by far the most thorough assessment, including pointing out some electrical work that needed to be done prior to adding insulation, for safety reasons. This was missed by other companies and even though it was more effort for me, I appreciate the integrity of your company. You would not proceed with the work until Gary had personally verified the work. Marc was an excellent installer, and took care to keep the house clean. He took many pictures to show me the work, which was great as this type of work is harder to inspect than most projects!

I needed insulation for My home is a back split and has 2 attics and called Tropical. Gary arrived on time a few days later and gave me a detailed written estimate and we talked about the job. He really help explain the situation. I agreed an nd a couple days later Mark and his helper{I didn't get his name} got to work and following completion showed me several pics of both attics installed insulation and I was very happy with the result along with detailed information. I"m so glad I stayed with Tropical since I had a job done way back in 2009. The office staff, Gary and Marc and assistant were top notch and I thank them all at Tropical for a smooth Insulation installation. Very Good Job Guys I thank you.

I had three individuals come in and provide me with a quote. Out of the three in regards to the amount of work that was needed Gary, who assessed the work was by far the most professional and most detailed with his explanation.
The crew that consisted of two individuals with Mark being the lead were quick, clean, skillful and competent. Before looking for a quote I would recommend you ask Tropical for a quote and start with them as your benchmark. Thx.

I recently had a very good experience with Tropical. I called a number of other companies for quotes to add to the blow-in insulation that I already had, and they all charged a minimum of $1000 plus tax regardless of the square footage of my attic (about 500 square feet). Tropical, however, gave me a much lower price ($700 plus tax) based on the size of my house.

What really sold me, besides the price, was the consultation. Gary was very thorough and polite when he came to inspect my house. I made him aware that I wanted my attic done as part of the Enbridge rebate. Gary double-checked his measurements to make sure that this job would qualify for the rebate, and he had me double-check with the energy auditor. It's all going to work out, but it was nice that Gary didn't just simply book the job without making sure that it was exactly what I wanted.

The work was done today. The Tropical team was on time, courteous, and clean, and now I have R-60 in my attic before winter comes. Great! I would definitely recommend Tropical.

Gary was the only agent that provided a thourough and detailed quote. Pricing was fair and he also provided several recommendations. When the Tropical Insulation team arrived on site, they were professional, on time and kept the home clean. Pictures were provided showing the work done once completed. Very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend.
