We chose to go with Coit to have our furnace checked over and cleaned along with our ducts through out our home. Overall we were not impressed with the quality of work and expertise of the representative. After the servicing, the air from the vents smelled the same (i.e. stale and dusty) and the furnace had an obvious smelly leak that the representative did not check the first time and only after calling him back for a second time did he pull out his tools to check for leakage and confirmed that we had a leak that needed to be repaired by a certified repair man which he was not.
In hindsight, it would have been better to choose a specialized HVAC company that knows in detail the way a furnace works and whose protocol includes a truly thorough check of the HVAC system versus just a wipe down and vacuum.
