We had so much snow on the roof top and an ice dam had formed, causing a leak into the living room on a Saturday afternoon. I called Joe right away, he answered the phone himself and sent out a workman promptly the next day, which was a Sunday. Snow was shuffled off the roof and there's no more leaking. Joe and his workers are reliable and hard working.

Downtown was very responsive to my call and actually walked the roof to give me quote (as opposed to some other companies). Owner's son Aaron supervised a large team and did a good job of re-shingling our roof efficiently. I requested the owner be on-site and he did check everything over before the crew left. The site was left clean and 6 months later we have no complaints. The idea of a 'tune-up' of our flat roof was theirs, and did lower the price.

We found Joe on Homestars. He was courteous, professional and prompt from the beginning. His estimate was reasonable and fell right in the middle of all the quotes we'd received. His crew arrived on time, completed the job on time and left our property cleaner than when they arrived! Since the installation we've had several major downpours with no leaks and no overflows. An excellent job was done!

About a year after the roof was installed a leak developed. When I went up on the roof, I found a puncture in the roofing membrane (most likely caused by an accidental slip of an electrician's drill). I called Joe and later that day, his son Aaron came out and patched the hole, free of charge! Since then there has been a torrential downpour and no sign of the leak whatsoever! Not only does Downtown Roofing do a spectacular initial job, they follow-up with a speed and efficiency that is truly impressive.

Follow-Up: Still no issues with the flat roof! We also had Joe and Aaron replace our shingled roof a few years ago. Once again, top-notch work by a team of professionals who are easy to work with.

Great service started right from the beginning: Mr. Dunphy reformatted his quote so we could compare it easily to others. The work started on time, but the weather didn't cooperate. Mr. Dunphy called every day to let us know if that day’s forecast would allow his crew to continue working. Not only did the crew do an excellent job, one crew member spent a day in the pouring rain clearing away the debris.

We were in need of a new roof and called several companies to look at the job. Joe was over without delay and was always available to take our calls. He ped off samples and was able to start the job as soon as the weather would allow. His crew was efficient, professional and honest about answering any questions we had. The job was done on time and with no mess.
