Drapery King

I walked into the store and was greeted with a friendly smile from Monica. She approached me asking if I needed any help and stayed with me until the end of my shopping experience there. She was very helpful and very friendly, explaining in detail for all my questions and concerns. She gave me some alone time to decide without being pushy which I appreciated it. The store has great fabrics and beautiful designs although the prices were a bit high for my badget. Here comes the saying "You get what you pay for". I really enjoyed my shopping experience at the Drapery King and I would definetely come back for their excellent services and refer a friend as well.

I have visited the Drapery King store yesterday since I've decided to replace my draperies in the living room and kitchen. I have met at the store Monica who was very helpful. In just 5 minutes she knew what I need, she has chosen the colours that I asked for, she showed me all the options; she also chose a beautiful sheer. After making my choice, she was able to give me a discount on the products which were not on sale. I was impressed with the service and will definitely come back. It took me 2 hrs to replace my draperies at home and I'm happy with my living and kitchen. I highly recommend the store since you'll be able to save on beautiful stuff which you can hang by yourself at a fraction of what the draperies specialists charge.

I found Drapery King online and saw a pattern I had been searching for on their website photo gallery. When I called to see if the store was open (during a long weekend), the store owner Mark said that the store was closed but since he was there I could come by. The store is stocked with a large variety of beautiful and reasonably priced drapes and fabrics. Many very modern and contemporary options. I had a clear idea of a pattern I wanted and Mark was able to show me a few different options at different price points. I took my time going back and forth between two drapes and I never felt rushed. He had some good advice in what would work well for the "feel" of the room. I am very pleased with the product and the drapes look great. The only reason I did not give them 10 stars is that I really like a good deal and although the prices were very reasonable, they were not stupid cheap. That's just me and my budget though.

I researched on line, Toronto based companies that sold ready made drapes. I have compared prices and decided that I would go over to Drapery King to see if they had what I wanted. When I arrived I found that even though the owner was very busy with other customers and was short handed, he still found someone to assist me. I found the drapes I wanted for a very reasonable price. When the owner was finished with the customers he was assisting, he then came over to help me. I found that my experience at this company enhanced my purchase. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a good product for a reasonable price. Two thumbs up! A ten out of ten.

I never thought i could get this much done on our budget.

When I called you I was told to bring pictures of my windows, how wide they were and the hight of my ceiling, some colours that inspire me andany picture that i could find that made me feal like i wanted that style.

When I came to your store there were hundreds of ready made drapery panels on display, over 1000 roles of fabric to choose from for the custom drapery you made me, and a full selection of drapery hardware.

We came to Drapery King not knowing anything about drapery and sceptical but you really have to just go see the store to get the idea this is a resorce center for people who want to have a beautiful home.

Mark and Jodie worked with us to compleat the whole job.

I thought that Mark and Jodie were excellent. Great price range, great products. I bought 2 silk panels lined with blackout and I had one custom made roman shade. I am so happy, and paid 1/2 what I would have paid anywhere else.!!!

To start with, Mark comes across as being very friendly and helpful. However, in the course of our interactions, I found him to be blatantly untruthful about the final product. The service was shoddy as well. Not recommended at all. Buy your curtains elsewhere.

Because we were paying a ridiculous amount for drapes, we were expecting primo service. We were promised a delivery date of 4-6 weeks. We had to call him 4 times after 9 weeks had passed to finally get our product. When the drapes were FINALLY installed, the contractor fastened the drapes to high (making them appear shorter). We had to fix that. The contractor then damaged our wall. We had to fix that too. When I spoke to Mark about the damage - he told me "that's not me - that's the contractor. I can't do anything about it". He didn't even give us a break on the installation cost. I have never been more disatisfied with a service in my entire life. Buyer Beware!!!!!!
