Elte

Elte is one of my favourite places to go for special pieces, whether for my own home or for a client. I've consistently found just the right thing there, from one of a kind pieces of furniture to exotic, imported area rugs, magnificent chandeliers and luxurious linens. The staff are knowledgeable, well-trained, and helpful the merchandise is always right on target style wise and the selection is huge. Even just one piece from Elte, if it's the right signature piece, can make the difference between a space being merely nice and the space being breathtaking.

Truly exceptional store with quality product and service. We continue to enjoy our persian carpets which are standing up well in a high traffic foyer. Elte is in a class of its own. In addition to buying, it gives me great pleasure to simply browse and have a latte in the lovely, understated cafe. Thanks, Elte.

John has been at Elte for I think 27 years. His dedication and selection and commitment to the installation of carpets is remarkable. Selection, just amazing. I would highly recommend both John and Elte.

We have purchased both furniture and carpeting from Elte, and in both cases the experience was excellent. We used Susan in the furniture department and she was so thorough in helping us choose our chairs, plus she was great with post-sales service. We had a problem with one chair and she replaced it immediately. Cynthia in carpeting helped us select our rugs and hall runner everything ran so smoothly. It is well worth the price.

Last summer we stopped at Elte to purchase some bedroom lamps. By the time we left the store we had purchased the lamps, two bar stools, a bedroom chair, a side chair and two desks. I knew what type of lamps I wanted and I saw them right away. We walked around the store and found many items we had on our on- going list. The shopping there is just so easy we decided to purchase the items while we had the opportunity. The prices in the store are not inexpensive however the quality is very superior and I always figure you get what you pay for. The store is jammed full of bedding, rugs, lamps, furniture (every type under the sun) and many home accessories. It even has a section of antiques. The store really is a dream and just writing about it here makes me want to go back. I enjoy shopping at Elte because they have an amazing selection and you can't help but find what you are looking for, and then some. The best part is many of their items are very unique and make a real statement in your home. The store is well laid out, bright and very large. The sales clerks are very knowledgeable and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Elte for your high end furniture needs. I love that you can find everything you are looking for under one roof, saving you much time! If you do not normally shop for furniture in high end type stores I would splurge for a special item here, every now and again. Your house will look extraordinary, by adding any item from Elte.

Good high end choices. Staff members I dealt with really knew their stuff, helpful service, delivery and istallation timely and efficient...the price may be a bit higher, but it is worth it for the trouble that you will be saving yourself.

Salesperson was quick to help me. He showed me a number of possibilities and discussed quality, wear and price. After I bought the carpet he took me to another department to look at lamps and then to the furniture department.

We recently bought two beautiful lamps from Elte. The shopping experience was pleasant due to the knowledgeable staff and great selection. They also delivered our lamps for us in great condition. I would definitely shop there again, but would suggest waiting for their annual sales to get the best prices.

We purchased some area rugs during the annual rug sale that Elte has every summer. I was pleased with the quality and prices...
Though not sure I would pay the regular retail price as it seemed over-priced. Similar quality items are available at Costcl

Overall we were pleased with the service; however, there was some confusion about whether they could lay the carpet on the tile floor. They knew it was tile floor when they came for the measurements but the servicemen were reluctant to install it. A bit frustrating for us as these issues should have been addressed before the installers arrived.
