I put a Truro furniture to be on layaway and was told by a representative that I put down whatever I can afford on the furniture. I deposited $100 and was later informed by Annette that I would have put down another $200 - $300 on the furniture. I did state to her that I would but later became very sick which resulted in me having to take off work. I later explained my circumstances to her and noticed I did not receive a response. I then followed up days later and then finally got a response and stated that she would get back to me. Again I waited for her response. I then followed up again in regards to giving back my deposit of $100 as Im not in any position to complete the purchase. They then respond that my deposit was significantly low and would require for me to add more money or that were going to keep my $100. I stated Im in no position to give more money and Im also in no position to donate my money to this place. Seeing that they labelled my deposit to significantly low you would think they would return my money and make an exception due to my circumstances. I was completely wrong and they chose to add a negative experience at my expense. I repeatedly kept asking for my money and over and over you started to recognize their level of professionalism. I reached out to Annette who later blocked me. I sent numerous emails which they retaliated by sending many emails with the same message. It only gets worse when they would not let me know who I was dealing with and when admitted they basically admitted retaliation against me. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Im not done with them and I will get back my money. Read the reviews these customers are not exaggerating.
