With a gas fireplace that has a Mercury Flame Switch, there are two options: 1 - Repair / 2 - Replace. We prefer to repair and our Gas Fix technicians are experienced with Mercury Flame Switch conversions. Many fireplace customers are surprised to hear that a repair is even an option. It is! Though it is an expensive repair, it is still less expensive than replacing an entire unit. Whether the Mercury Flame Switch is in a Cambridge, Heatilator, Montigo, Security, Majestic, Instaflame, etc., our technicians can repair the unit and we have the required gas valve and pilot assembly on the vehicle to do so.
