Called GasFix, described the issue with 5 year old Kingsman zero clearance fireplace - pilot light not staying on. Dwayne showed up 4 hours later, tested the unit, replaced the thermocouple. Our flatscreen tv is above the fireplace. I asked about installing a fan kit to blow the hot air out and away from the flatscreen. Dwayne explained the blower function, noise, material cost, install time, etc. I added this to the service call. While the fireplace was disassembled Dwayne vacuumed and wiped down all the interior components. The blower is awesome! so quiet and can feel the heat out front, less heat hitting the flatscreen. I would recommend FasFix. Dwayne explained service and fees before going ahead with anything. Fireplace place looks showroom quality, especially now that the fake logs are in the right spot and all the debris is vacuumed up. To keep the unit safe I will service it through GasFix on a regular basis.
