I was shopping for bedroom set and sofas for out new place and I had previous bad experience shopping for Furniture on Dundas Street. I was searching on the internet and I came across Highland Furniture. Before going into the store I read there reviews and I saw few bad reviews and I was undecided whether I should go there. But I still I took a chance to go into the store. I was just looking around and I was amazed by the sales person. She recommended customized sectional with a lot of good options and worked out a really good price. I did shop around and I really liked the way they helped me and they found what I was looking for. They didn’t force me like the other stores to buy what they had. I am so happy with our customized sectional, bedroom set and the customer service I received from them.

Excellent service from Al. Couches were exactly as in store and everything was delivered on time. I was even calling for updates since we were excited to get them and all our questions were answered. Very good service. All the furniture were nice and I plan to buy a mirror from Highland soon. Thanks Al.

Highland Furniture might look small from the outside but this place is actually quite big with a lot of selection. We were shopping for a sofa set for our family room and couldn’t really find the size and style we needed because of the layout of our room. We were so impressed with this store for customizing a sofa set with the dimensions and the style we needed. Raj spent a lot of time with us and gave us many options and fabulous customer service with fast delivery and flexible payment options. I've recommended Highland Furniture to all my friends and we will definitely be buying from there again! Cheers!

I ordered a bedroom and received it in less than two weeks. Their sales people are friendly and not pushy like the Brick or Leon's. I'm really happy with the service.

I went in to buy a bedroom set furniture but turned into a nightmare. They delivered within a week which was fine but when they brought the furniture to our room in the boxes it was all to clear we have been ripped off. Started opening boxes one by one to find the head board damaged a piece missing plus looked as if they tried to fix it from another time. Armoure damaged and chipped door off location so hard to open. Foot board was damaged and painted to look like it was new.
Called them up a very rude woman answer saying that they should not have giving me that at that price. But yet everyone on dundas were selling bedroom sets at that price. She said they will come to fix it but all i want is it replaced with a new one but they will not do that. I have never in my life had to go through a situation when buying something new would be such an ordeal. I will never buy from a small furniture place again especially on dundas in Mississauga

Don't buy from these people unless you don't mind broken and chipped furniture

Purchased a sofa set and needed it urgently for a party the following weekend.
They promised they would deliver it within 5 days and it was actually in my living room in 3 days...two days earlier than promised!
I was happy with the quick turnaround and smooth transaction. They were very easy to deal with.
Will shop here again if I need anything in the future.

I had a very pleasant experience with this store. We have shopped around all over town for furniture and the lady at this store went above and beyond the help we received from any other store we went to.
I will be a customer for life and have told all my friends to shop there.

I recently bought a sofa set and coffee table set for my basement and I gave the sales person advance for the delivery in 7-10 days. Got a rather surprising voicemail from the sales person yesterday saying to call him back asap. I called back and this woman picks up the phone saying that the store can't honor the deal as they sold the products below their cost..!
I have a copy of contract showing their legal binding to deliver the order. I called back trying to talk to the sales person I was dealing with. He is not there..and woman on the phone is extremely rude, arrogant and "anti-customer-focused". Dont know why she is still there..she should be fired in a minute as I am sure she is giving a lousy service to other customers as well.
Anyways, she tells me that the order is cancelled and I can collect my advance?? What I dont get is what happened to the legal contract we have. Very disappointing service..
Anyone who is reading this review, PLEASE Don't buy from Highland Furniture on Dundas, Mississauga at all. Even if you have to pay a little more somewhere else, you will get million time better customer service.

We purchased our furniture from this store. We were promised excellent service when we bought the furniture.

We purchased Sofa and love seat, dinning table with hutch/buffet and 6 chairs, and full bedroom set. We spent $5,000 with this company.

When we received the furniture we found that the leather part of the sofa and the love seat had damages. There is a big scratch on the top of the love seat and a hole.

The dinning room chairs that were delivered had a different fabric color than what we ordered.

They also caused several damages to the interior walls in our dinning, living and bedroom areas on our house.

We called the store and they refused to replace the damaged love seat or refund our money or even honor the warranty. They also refused to replace the dinning room chairs with what we ordered.

The store manager gave us bad attitude and refused to listen to us. She told us they are no responsible and it is our problem. We also had the picture of the dinning table that we ordered but she told us it does not matter how many pictures we have, she will not replace the chairs.

This is the worst customer experience that we had in our life. We ended up with damaged furniture and a dinning room that we did not even order.
No matter how many time we contacted them to request a replacement we were always treated very badly and they refused to replace the damaged furniture.

Buyer be aware and do not make the same mistake we did by buying from this store.
