Home Depot - Argentia Rd

Recently visited the Home Depot on Argentia looking for a riding lawn mower for my yard and found out that they only carry 2 brands and had no product knowledge

We built a deck and didn't know the first thing about it. Information was very helpful and having them cut the wood to helped as well. They gave us tips on preserving the wood where cuts were made. All and all it made a stressful project a pleasant experience.

Got excellent recommendation and top level services from there, also it was really convenient for the stuff delivery, love the rental services there, also the technicians there are really friendly and helpful

The rental centre proveded excellent advice on what tools I needed and how to use them last spring when I relaid my lawn. When I had a problem with one of the tools they refunded my money no questions asked

The salesman in home depot was exceptionally helpful when it came to change our lighting fixtures/electrical. He was very informative and helpful, he spent quite a bit of time with us and answered all of our questions from wiring to proper pot light replacements.

I had to grab some water softener salt for our home. I like this Home Depot because it is just off the highway 401, easy to get to in a winter storm. I had a hard time finding the salt, and had to ask for help. Eventually I found it at the cash, which to me, was a strange place to put it. Until I found out it was over 20kg, then I was happy it was close to the exit.

Went to Home Depot wanting to install recessed lighting in the basement, kitchen, dining room, and living room, with no idea how to do it. The staff at Home Depot were very informative and answered any questions that we had. They took us to the wiring section as well and helped us find the right cables that we would need. It was a great experience and made us more confident that we could install the recessed lighting ourselves.

From the first visit, where it took us more than four hours to get the product we needed. We found no really experienced associate was on duty. The delivery was a no show two days in a row and only half was delivered. We paid our contractor two days and he had nothing to do. The store charged us for product they don't carry. We ordered windows that were to take 6 weeks...on the 6th week the Manager Krista informed us the windows were in...the 7th week they still couldn't figure it out...And then the 8th they told us we didn't pay for them...guess what no windows. It would take another 6 weeks. I called the head office spoke to James who told me he would take care of it...never heard from him again. The KEY HERE IS TO SHOP AT RONA. Don't put yourself through this. Rona is CANADIAN. Tell them about your experience and they will discount product and serve you right!

I needed special electrical fixtures that Home Depot carries - It took me two trips over two days to get help in this department. I finaly chased someone else from another section to help me.
I was upset to say the least - I shop at RONA where help is always available.

We went to home depot to look at carpet and were impressed with the selection and prices for the material and even more so with the installation. We re-carpeted the whole house and are very satisfied with the finished product.
