Ikea - North York

I particularly like the design software they provided to help us to design and spaced out the furniture. The shows room were very good and help us in generating the ideas for the bedroom. Great place to do reno. Will go there again for remodeling my kitchen.

We decided to upgrade the master bedroom. After reviewing the cost of hiring someone to do the job versus doing the job ourselves, we concluded that it would be a fun weekend project for us to undertake. Though it ended up being a more-than-one-weekend project, it was worth it. We got all the necessary "parts" from IKEA and now it's a beautiful and functional master bedroom.

ikea kitchen cabinets had a bad reputation even with me. i had not considered them as a valid or sound choice until a plumber friend told me he did his own kitchen with ikea stuff. he has done a lot of high end work and still was happy using ikea kitchen stuff so who was i to say it is not good enough for me to use. his key points was a company that stood behind its products. a no hassel return, guarentee policy. backs there products from 5 to 25 years and they always have spare parts, including doors, boxes and hardware. the price point from my economic prospective was fabulous. our friends couldn't believe it was ikea. from an echo friendly perspective, the off gasing of the cabinets was a bit of a concern but at our price point, there was not much choice in this matter. the only other negative was really sore fore arms from putting together all those boxes. i love the hex key, lock, twist the boards together but when you have hundreds, well, that was my workout for the month.

I higly recommend when you visit Ikea in North york to drop by the used item section, there are a number of great items that have nominal damage. It takes on a couple minutes but thoses minutes may save you $$$$.

Just received IKEA's kitchen cabinets and the quality is just outstanding. Even my contractor was impressed and wanted to buy them for his own kitchen.

Their products are great however their service was terrible. Took me forever just to find someone to help me. When someone finally came over all they did was take my order but offered no advice that I needed to put a kitchen together.

And if you turn your back on them for even a second they're gone to help someone else. Real nice considering the amount of money I was spending there.

My advice is if you are interested in their kitchen products, it's just amazing. However do your homework before you go there because you'd be lucky to get any help.

As soon as I went in the store I saw lots of sales. It was a good atmoshere. It was easy access to all appliances and you can pick up whatever you want because its all in view sit.

We have recently been a victim of credit card fraud, so we do not sign the back of our credit card that way the store clerk will be forced to ask for ID.The clerk did ask for ID and validate us only to decline our transaction and force us to sign our cards.When we refused they declineed our transaction.We tried to plead our case to a supervisior who could not be bothered.We came to purchase a large quantity of items and even provided the ID but they were unwilling to make an exception or even consider a one time allowance.This was not customer service it was customer dis-service.

I reported this incident to a security guy after I found dents and a shopping cart left by side of my car. I'm waiting for a month to get response from IKEA but nothing happened until now.
Can someone have some good idea for this to help me.

Great serivce friendly service patient prompt on time ... top notch quality of bedroom set they put it together and did a fantastic job ... my bedroom set is admired by everyone making me save time by putting it together myself.
