wow, i'd like to thank you guys for helping me out with a short notice move on January 2nd! Alex did a great job supervising the whole thing and although the hourly rate was a little higher than other companies that I called, everything was setup in 24 hours and completed in 3 hours.

This company is completely unprofessional and unreliable! They didn't show up with the right number of men, the right sized truck and then held our things hostage unless we paid them almost double what was on our contract! Plus, it was supposed to include assembly and the movers refused and took off! When we tried calling, no one would return our calls or e-mails. They completely left us stranded.

Response to John B, iMove Canada: I COMPLETELY agree that I should NOT have been charged almost double my contract! This is why we're livid about our unresolved issue. We tried for WEEKS to speak to someone but they were suddenly unavailable. We were SPECIFICALLY quoted a FLAT RATE, and guaranteed other perks IN OUR CONTRACT which was not honoured. Your company has so many complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau? When googled, you have so many complaints found all over! SHAME ON YOU! My bet is that the other reviews are written by you!

I hired iMove Canada to help me with my short notice move mid-November. I found the company through one of my neighbours who used them a week before. After contacting customer service I was offered free packing material delivery and a no-obligation same day estimate. The crew was right on time, 9am sharp. The job took a little longer than originally quoted, however, it all came down to careful wrapping of my antique furniture pieces. The guys did a really good job and I would certainly recommend them to my friends. Plus I got a hundred Aeroplan miles as a bonus!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. iMove has a great website but it is not a good company and they are very difficult to track down once they have taken your money. They have overcharged me for the service without authorization (they maxed out my credit card) and are now impossible to get hold of. I was lucky that the move itself was successful. After researching this company they appear to use slightly different company names (all linking to the same website) - I presume this is in order to confuse customers. AGAIN, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
